Hi yes it fine to use by someone in Canada, it's denominated in CAD $ and I called Canadian customer services who confirmed I could pass it on. With our young son I just can't see me doing long haul between Canada and Uk for a long time. so I'm happy to just take a fair offer. Let's PM?

Hi guys I got a $500 CAD e-coupon to use on Air Canada flights for compensation for a late flight. Its has to be redeemed before 21st Dec 2018 (but the flight could be later than that) There’s no way I’m going to use it. I won’t be making any trips to Canada. The VIP polybag had stickers. i bought the UCS snowspeeder and it has 35 stickers. That's unacceptable! i bought my son a £4 duplo set. It had 6 bricks and two of those had detailed printing with one have printing on both sides. So if a £4 set can have 3 printed sides then there's no excuse to ever use stickers... the argument about the cost is BS.

If it's on the cover of a book then it would be rare, so that won't help its value.

Can't see much news about May 4th beside BB8 polubag and hints of certain sets on discount. last year we had much more hype including a different set for -40% each day for a week

Yep good point. The more I look at this set the less I like it. the problem is that it does a poor job of representing the human form of the statue. The base looks great as it's a brick structure anyway, but the contrast between the quality of the base vs. the Awkwardness of the statue doesn't help

Not blown away by this. The base looks fine but I don't think lady liberty herself works. Why is the arm so short? It's clearly too short in the image on the box showing the side-by-side with the real one.

What's special about this set? apart from simply being leaked, its just another City sub theme set.

Complained to Lego CS again, they basically blamed it all on the marketing team and said thy expect there will be something for Black VIP cardholders for May 4th. However, they were simply speculating. they had no information of anything being scheduled for Black VIP , but rather said that the marketing team "surely had to do something for May 4th" I'll believe that when we see it. I think we've been ripped off

Series 18 widely available in the Uk now, but if the box is open you are v unlikely to get the policeman as so many people are looking for it. ive been fortunate to have found 7. But each time was from a fresh box, when I've tried for boxes already open I've not been successful.

That actually looks quite good. thoigh I wonder how much the fabric hides in terms of obvious joints etc. but otherwise potentially one of the better figures

I thought R2 D2 was a great little build. Captured the likeness well. Hard to fault it.

Ignore the "last Jedi is an abomination" complaints. It's as fun and entertaining as well as flawed (acting and plot) as any of the OT films individually. (I have very fond memories of the SW OT from childhood, but unlike a lot of people I know I'm when I'm wearing "rose tinted glasses")

It's been a wash out. I really think we should all complain. Lego hyped up bvying this early with this card and the benefits being a perk and they haven't delivered. Its not met the definition of a year of benefits. 2x VIP isn't special

They offered partial refund of 5% i laughed and asked for a replacement in a box. Let's see what happens
