  1. Hi! Welcome donnasmile!
  2. Welcome into this great community of Lego fans!
  3. It seems strange that the backgrounds in pictures are so different from one another. Seems like the sets were not photographed at the same time and place, wich is suspicious.
  4. Welcome! There is a lot of informations here!
  5. Wow this is the kind of Display I would like to build!
  6. Yes exactly the one mentioned above. [emoji1]
  7. I just purchased a Harry Potter Lego 100% complete and looking just like new for the price I would have payed in store 7 years ago! This one is for my private collection!
  8. Also included but not shown in pictures: superheroes girls Batgirl Batjet Chase (used), 5 dimensions sers I keep for myself, a big ziploc full of Disney minifigs and an other one fulled with Batman Movie minifis (30 figs per bag, all new).
  9. I just got lucky and bought a big lot of sets and collectible minifigures. Most are new and sealed, the rest are all in there original boxes with manual instructions and generally in excellent condition with most of them beeing 100% complete. I paid approximatly half of their retail price before taxes, maybe even less (didn't finish all the math yet). Some sets are retired. This is the kind of lot that rocks I believe.
  10. Well done! I had the same impression on the white color. Love it!
  11. This lot will surely be profitable. You have a complete list of the sets included, so it will be way easier. I enjoy a lot the fun of finding all the right pieces for each set and I like buying profitable used Legos because I can play with them before reselling. I don't count my hours in the profit equation because it is my hobby. I have a full time job and lego never feels like working. When I have a lot like that (although mine were smaller), I don't complete the sets that have missing pieces if I don't have these pieces at home. I just sell them uncomplete for a lower price and I had no problem finding buyers. I only complete the sets I want to keep for myself. I strongly agree to keep big and rare sets that are not yet retired if you can wait. Have fun!
  12. I love your build I Am Your Father. I really feel an impression of hight and minifigures are displayed with a lot of dynamic. Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy looking at nice MOCs like this one.
  13. Thanks a lot Phil B for sharing your experience. I just started investing in Lego this year after 2 years of gathering information. This is exactly the kind of information I am looking for here. Very helpful for a newby like myself. Just a small interrogation: what does AFOL means? Sorry I am still getting used to the abbreviations.
  14. Hi my name is Catherine, 31 years old. I am from Québec, Canada (I speak French mainly). I just started investing in Lego sets seriously last month. I collect Lego and take a look at the Lego market since 3 years now. For most of it I buy every ser I like twice. One for me, one to sell later on. I know Bricklink since a few years and I like it as a buyer. I intend to open a Bricklink shop eventually. It's nice and helpfull to see your posts and opinons in investing so far. Thanks
