  1. Was it always 200 though? Their prices aren't set. For example they recently upped the price for Arkham Asylum by 10€. But you're right it could still be 200€.
  2. Yeah I know it's not fair. Even if they do decide to offer it in the future, it will be 229€ instead of 200€. If you live close to the German border you could go for a roadtrip Pretty sure you'd be able to flip these for 220€ right now.
  3. You can look up all sets and parts on bricklink or brickset. It's really a matter of getting to know valuable sets and recognizing the unique parts.
  4. 160€ snowspeeder is here. http://www.toysrus.de/product/index.jsp?productId=94966931
  5. Good morning all. It's finally here. 160€ snowspeeder. http://www.toysrus.de/product/index.jsp?productId=94966931
  6. The Falcon had that for a while too with the release of TFA. Can be good to create scarcity for flipping, not sure if it's a positive thing in the long run.
  7. Hello and welcome. The value for such items is very difficult to estimate because there are so few sales. Try looking at other Samsonite sets and seeing what they are going for.
  8. Welcome. I'd say flip the Saturns now. Last I heard they are going to be out of stock until somewhere in August. You'll be able to get them cheaper eventually. You wait for a good deal and that is when you buy. Unless you're trying to flip or it's some kind of limited edition set. By the way, there is a dedicated thread for most popular sets, including the Saturn V. You should check it out and see what other people are doing.
  9. Well that's not really a Star Wars Minifigure so much as a combination of various Minifigures. He's gonna get burned holding his "lightsaber" like that too.

    10258 - London Bus

Honestly not really a fan of this. I think it looks kinda rough around the edges. Some of the window pieces don't fit all that great, although that's also the case for other Creator vehicles. Also, I know it's a bus, but all of the empty seats make it look really barren on the inside. By comparison, I think the VW Camper has a much more interesting interior.
  11. Hi there. It's a known issue. Jeff is working to fix it, but it will take some time. Please be patient
  12. Is it widely available in the US? Some of the bigger exclusives are being sold in nearly ever toy store over here, which tends to drive prices down.
  13. Wow. Sort of reminds me of Kowloon walled city in Hong Kong. Almost looks like a fantasy version of that. It sort of looks like a mess from a distance, but once you look at the close ups there's just so many clever details and awesome parts. I don't think anyone was expecting this. Performance wise I'm afraid it might end up as an Airjitzu Temple 2.0, given the price point.
  14. For any European polybag collectors: TRU Germany have the Bat pod polybag in stock. It's been a while since they had a decent polybag. I check daily (sort by lowest price), and just noticed it today.
  15. Don't worry. I'm sure they are ramping up production. Before you know it, this set will be everywhere.
  16. For sure. As long as it's selling, they will keep it on shelves.
  17. Hello and welcome!
  18. Hello and welcome. This question has been asked a lot. The answer is usually: if you want to get max profit, don't sell in bulk. If you do decide to sell in bulk, be prepared to get a signifcantly lower price for your stuff. As for places to sell, there's the obvious ones like eBay, Craigslist, etc. but you can check out Brick Classifieds, Bricklink and Brickowl as well. I suggest putting them up on Brick Classifieds and seeing if anyone here is interested in buying them. You have some nice sets, so it shouldn't be a problem finding a buyer.
  19. Hi there. If it were Star Wars maybe, but I doubt anything from the Lego Batman Movie will be worth more if it's a misprint. If you want it replaced, just contact TLG. They might be able to replace it if they still have that figure in stock, though I doubt it. You should be able to get a refund though (from your retailer, not TLG).
  20. I think the Lego designers based the UCS set on one of the original scale models used in the A New Hope. There is one so called "superhero model", which is an incredibly detailed model used for close up shots. This model has battle damage and oxidation, both of which are very hard to replicate using Lego bricks (except when using prints or stickers). Another thing is that the scale of the UCS model is a bit off on some of the parts. Namely the tubing is way too thick compared to the rest of the model. The actual model has thin copper tubes, which don't stand out as much (they are more of a yellowish copper). Now all of this is about the original model used in A New Hope. It was given to someone named Alan Jadd who helped Lucas get his movie released. It looks like this: More pictures over here: https://propstore.com/blog/top-5-star-wars-artefacts-in-prop-store-ceo-stephens-personal-collection/ From what I've read there is a LOT of difference between different models used and especially between different films. One good example is this model: This model was made by Bill George (ILM) and if I understand it correctly, was used in Return of the Jedi. More pictures here: http://www.modelermagic.com/?p=2722 Now the pictures are kind of dark, but it's pretty clear that the copper tubing is way less pronounced on this model. It's very thin (which is not possible to replicate in Lego unless you change scale) and the colors are more muted. Here's an interesting video about the background behind the original superhero y-wing model: As you can probably tell I'm a big fan of the Y-Wing. I can understand why some people might not think much of it, but to me it's appearance fits perfectly with the role it has to play in the rebellion. I think the line Luke has about the Falcon, fits the Y-Wing just as well. It might look like a piece of junk, but it'll kick your a** any day.
  21. Hello and welcome!
  22. You're aware that it's very likely we'll get a remake this year? That could seriously hurt it's value, though it's difficult to say how badly. Seems a bit awkward, but I'd check the weight if you can. Though it's not perfect, it's still a very good indicator of the contents. Also ask for a receipt if he still has it. I don't have a 10179 so I can't tell you what to look for exactly, but some people here do.
