Good thing they did not think I was the one who opened the seal or punched the box...actually the associate from the TRU store said she cannot imagine how bad the shipping staffs packed the items. She also said this usually happened during every Christmas time.

I received 2 orders of HD from TRU and both were severely damaged. One was just like yours with seals broken and the other had a fist-size hole punched through it. I returned them to the store. I did not bother to get a replacement since the condition might be worse than the first one...

I saw some still available at the Target B&M stores but the seals were cut opened.

I gotta pick one up. I should have bought one 2 months ago when the were on clearance at Target. I'm an idiot. I was lucky enough to buy one from TRU when it was on sale last December. I was thinking about giving out as a gift, but I guess I should keep it for myself.

The old classic yellow castle looks a lot better then the one in Kingdoms.

As the space shuttle program ends, any related merchandise should go up in value but I don't think Shuttle Adventure 10213 or 10231 will jump very high. However, I do like this set a lot and I hope it will go on sale someday.

I just noticed the Fire Brigade is not in the Spring catalog. Might be time to pick one up.Well, Amazon just got a huge lot of Fire Brigades. If Lego is selling a set well, why would they stop(unless they are stopping a whole theme like POTC or Harry Potter)? All this discussion over the EOL of these sets is a waste of time. Only Lego knows when these sets are getting yanked off the shelves.I agree. it is very hard to pin point when a set will be dropped. If you want one, better buy it, then you can rest easy. ;-) It is very hard to predict which set will be EOL'd as some of the sets have very short shelf life. The catalog is a good tool to check and I sometime check the sales from LEGO Shop at Home but it is not always accurate. I was lucky coz that's how I got the Imperial Flagship right before it discoutinued.

The two you just mentioned and Diagon Alley are the ones I would buy. Hogwarts Express is already appreciating well. I also think Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Express will do pretty well. In addition to these 2 sets, The Burrow might be good for investment...too bad I missed the chance to buy it...

I have sold couple small Lego sets on Craiglist and so far I have no problems. I would prefer to have people check the items before they pay.
