  1. We ordered a PS4 from Kohl’s two weeks ago and had it cancelled. Still sent the $180 in kohl’s cash plus an extra $10 for our trouble. It’s already been spent so you should be going to go there. No CS intervention needed.
  2. I've never had any of my TRU orders go this route. I'm anticipating this being my last experience with them for awhile until they straighten themselves out.
  3. Ordered a Saturn V from TRU last week since I had a bunch of gift cards that I wanted to use just in case. So it's been a week and no ship confirmation. Literally as I'm questioning how long it's been since I ordered, I get an email saying my order has been delayed, was not shipped and they don't know if it will ship at all and that in 30 days I'll get my money refunded. Was pretty bummed since I haven't had much luck finding one in stock anywhere, and wondering how getting my gift card values back will go. Then and hour later FedEx pulls up and delivers one Saturn V from TRU to me. WTH TRU?? Maybe this is why you are losing money!
  4. Thats good to keep on mind -about Prime. Thanks
  5. Oh my god yes. The lines at CS are constant and move sooooooo ssssllloooowww. Thats what I was trying to avoid. I see everyone price matching stuff here and figured they had to be doing it at the register because no way would they deal with those lines. Plus the CS counter is past the registers, so you have to walk past the registers with unpaid merchandise which always gives me a bad feeling.
  6. So I thought that I had done a pretty good job at learning the coupon stacking that was so 2016. Now that seems to have gone away and the new thing to do at TRU is the price match + discounted GC. I'm ready to jump in on that but can anyone tell me do I need to go to customer service to do the price match or can it be done at the registers. Seems like it will be a giant pain to go to CS line.
  7. I'm seeing that at $59 at a bunch of local walmarts in-store as well
  8. The last one I had some success with was chima 70003 Eris' Eagle Interceptor. Couldn't move them on Ebay. Put them out at the sale for $15 (buy in was $5 at TRU clearance ) and it was like I was giving them away. Anything under $35 seems to be golden in my area. Lots of grandparents buying the kids gifts. Plus no fees, no chargebacks, no returns. Not many people try to haggle me on the Lego stuff. Other yard sale stuff yes they want for a quarter, but it seems like the people attracted to it are the ones who know its already a good deal that you are giving them.
  9. I set up some sets at my wife's yard sales. I can always move Chima, super heroes, and bionicles that I can't sell elsewhere. People bring their kids along who see it and go nuts, or they buy for their grandkids. They are surprised when I tell them that the sets are new. I usually dont keep anymore than 1 of any set out. I sell one, and then grab another to put out. That way it doesn't look like I am one of those people who bought a bunch of stuff on clearance and trying to make a buck off someone else, even though I obviously am!
  10. They are Knex. Throw them in the trash
  11. I got a 4x2 piece of MDF, painted it with black chalkboard paint. The ledges are Azec PVC house trim that had a nice flat profile on two sides, one to hold the minifigures and one to attach to the board. Attached them onto the MDF with finish nails and epoxy. Filled in the nail holes with PVC filler. Didnt paint the ledges because the PVC trim is a nice even white. Used "glue dots" to attach 2x sections of white lego plate. My ledges are 74 studs long. It won't hold all of their minifigures but at least the "complete" ones can be easily found.
  12. He won't. He knows how serious I am about this stuff. But they are his already, I'm just trying to keep them contained. He can play with them but this way he has to ask for help to get them down and we can keep better track of where they are. I had a moment of panic last year after I gave him the Iron Man silver centurion and it was MIA within a day.
  13. Built this over the past few weeks for my kids to maybe possibly keep their minifigures better organized. And I mounted it just high enough that my son can't reach the top three rows yet. That way I can put the expensive ones up there. Ya know, the ones the wife says "you gave him what to play with? You could have sold that for $50! What were you thinking? "
  14. There was a scene from the old testament with 30 concubines that was quite odd in minifigure form. Didnt take a picture of that one.
  15. Was at the church attached to my daughter's preschool and found "the minifigure bible.". Figured it was a huge compilation of minifigure photos, but it was an illustrated bible with minifigures. I'm not a big bible person, but it seemed super graphic.
