Ideally I will be using autocad as this is the programme I use at work. I had had not heard of those alternatives however so thanks for pointing those out, I shall have a look at them

Hi Brickpickers! I just wanted to share an idea I was thinking of to see if anyone has done something similar before. By trade I am a draughtsman / designer and use the standard drawing programme AutoCAD. To brush up on my 3d modelling / new inventor programme, I was thinking of recreating our little beloved bricks and assembling them on the computer. Each individual part will need to be drawn out and then they can be pieced together individually. Due to the eductational nature of this, I thought throwing lego into the mix would make it much more interesting Has anyone done this before? What would be a good set to start with? Personally was thinking one of the star wars micro's as they would be a fun and fast starter! Cheers guys! This month I have bought 1x Death Star 1x Simpsons house 2x Pet shop 1x Palace cinema 1x Tower bridge A little of an over spend but didn't want to miss out on any of these great sets.

Is it still worth picking up around

Just spoke to Lego at home about availability. They said they are not going to be restocking.

Just a quick update, I have reported the ebay seller so hopefully action will be taken asap. Next time I will not be so gullible, I hope others learn from my mistake. In the future when buying the larger sets I will stick to the lego shop and not hunt for bargains that sound too good to be true on ebay! As for my refund, I will have to wait until 11th to open a case (as that was the latest expected delivery).
