Maybe others here can give specific examples or you could check out older posts from a specific thread since many folks around here post in/out of stock as well as listing updates for Target and other online retailers.

I have been monitoring quite a few lego products over the past year+ at Target and it is actually not that unusual for them to delete a listing and bring it back like you say.

Sorry, not picking on you, just laughing out loud at how it goes around here on a daily basis. This type of info has been posted before (Lego online-only exclusives) and I certainly think it is possible, but I didn't think it was news and especially didn't think it was good news. I think most people around here would consider "retired" tag or at least "sold out" good news but not eternal online availability at MSRP, no matter what the source.

One person reports what a Lego employee thinks and now this is "news". Gotta love this place.

Thanks, Bold. Been hoarding Target GC waiting for the price to come back down. I don't think it is going EOL this year, but I am not taking a chance when I can get them for under $140 incl. tax right now.

I think revenue will dictate what happens. I doubt they care about corner buildings when they are making a decision like this.

I never saw a response from ravenb99 but you might want to periodically check the dpci for your area using the Target stock tracker here. According to thebrickfan, dpci for this set is supposed to be 204-00-0479.

That is interesting. All the ones I bought are 2 per case. All were bought throughout 2014 and I think my cased ones came from Walmart and TRU.
