  1. Ninjago legacy makes a lot of sense. All but the last two seasons are on Netflix but you couldn’t get the old characters. So the sets available are unfamiliar to some kids and the unavailable ones are well known. My son is over the moon at the new ones. For example to get a pythor figure off eBay was £20 each. Or 24 characters for £12 if you go the fake route. Easy to see why Lego tried to rebalance.
  2. I have used them a couple of times and they have been the best boxes i have ever received. Outer boxes that fit perfectly and then polybagged.
  3. Thanks for that. Finally picked up a Unimog.
  4. I was speculating that they could retire both next year, then introduce one new model and resurrect one of the older sets like the post office or bakery. Give the ‘new one’ the normal cycle whilst the ‘ressurected’ set could be introduced with a shorter cycle. Who knows?
  5. True, but AoH, or AT-AT can be played with on their own. What use is a train station without a train. Of course logic doesn’t always play a part in these decisions.
  6. I think it’ll be interesting what happens with this and the train. You would expect the train to finish next year, but what would become of a winter station with no train? Do they retire them together?
  7. I got 6 Claas before they were removed. They have not sold out so I think they were just taken off the offer. The Porsche was never in it.
  8. What's a fair price in the U.K. for one now? Anyone selling one or looking for a swap?
  9. I got three of these in 2002. Tried seven but they reduced to three.
  10. I noticed that the Mr Freeze freebie is still ongoing on the 30th of April. Could be another bonus?
  11. In Glasgow store today and the employee said he couldn't say anything about freebies as he hadn't been told but SW would have 10% off with exception of Hoth UCS.
  12. I am hoping to do the same. My flips or trades have been declared and tax paid. The investment sets I believe can be considered chattels and be treated with capital gains tax.
  13. I believe there is a printing problem where the side of the box mentions Darth Vader is included. He is not - that was last year.
  14. I am also based in Glasgow. The ToO sat for ages. The Monday after the weekend it sold out they were gone. My hunch is that staff also indulge or other people got there at the weekend. The exact same thing happened to me last year with the Halloween Mansion, I watched for ages then bought online, it was canceled by TLG. Went to store and they were gone. I ended up getting it on eBay for £275! However I used the experience to encourage me to buy the SSD which is nicely appreciating. If you can't get it easily then get it quickly off eBay, or buy something else that might later fund it through appreciation.
  15. I don't know if anyone else spotted this but at the end of the instructions for the T Rec set the advert includes every set with the exception of RE. It also does not list the raptors in the tick list of dinosaurs. Furthermore whilst this is not a Walmart (or anywhere) exclusive in the UK it's not listed in the Argos catalogue whilst the other sets are. Finally the numbering is slightly off...
