  1. Yay Amazon!
  2. hurry, hurry
  3. Awesome. Thanks for that!
  4. Just received this back from a customer from 11/15/24. Set #40370 40th Anniversary Steam Engine. Customer said it was too old a set for their child. The box was sealed but didn't sound right. Opened it up and sure enough, there are loose pieces -- at least I've never seen a set with normal pieces loose like this. Can anyone confirm? thanks
  5. Take pictures of box, label, inside, product, etc and issue "partial" refund. There's a place where you can leave notes for yourself as well. I always do this so if things come back I remember what happened.
  6. Go ahead and file an A-Z. I had the same thing happen with a Gingerbread House. Beat up box with rips and tears. Amazon gave me $46 for a $220 item. Others say I was lucky for that.
  7. Always fun to get your stuff back with no shipping box with the label pasted/taped on too. Received more of those today 😀
  8. Efficient? Sell the minifigs separately, take some pictures of the bulk and sell the lot. Last year I put all my kids sets back in sets again. Most were mostly completed as is. I set up bins behind my desk so I could quickly source missing parts as I went. I probably accounted for at least 95% - 99% of all pieces in the sets. Given the time it took and the cost to replace the missing pieces I would come out more ahead to simply buy the used sets off Ebay. So if its really not worth the time for me to sort sets that cost me nothing (for the sake of argument) than it certainly is not worth it to buy bulk lots as a means of making money. As a "hobby" many on here do it, I have, but it's not a money making venture - unless you simply do not put a value on your time 😜
  9. I think you are going down a bigger rabbit hole with the loose bulk lots.
  10. You need to respond to all messages. Instruct the customer to go to their orders and select "tracking says delivered, but not received". Customers rarely tell what steps they have taken so I normally state what tracking says, check with neighbors, and if its the same day as "delivered" explain it could still come that day or the next. You can create a boiler plate to this effect. There's no information that you can give them that is not available to them already but since you are the seller you have to deal with it.
  11. I saw this email from a friend: "Sorry that you paid to ship all your products in to us and incur placement fees -- and subsequently pay to have them shipped back to you (even though we promised you wouldn't) -- and that you missed the Christmas rush. But, the good news is you are now cleared to sell Lego again -- until further notice . . . Thank you again for being part of the Amazon family. We truly value the partnership."
  12. Wow, figured it came from Amazon which I could see happening, but Lego? Little heat gun action and the tape comes off np.
  13. Looks like Costco sold out of most of their Lego at least in my area. I've only seen a couple sets at a few stores I've visited and they are just regular discounts (mainly Poinsettia's & HP Mandrakes) . Haven't seen a trace of their Christmas stuff either. Guessing Costco just cut back their inventory this year??
  14. Unfortunately there are so many scammers nowadays that companies cannot tell the difference. We experience this ourselves as sellers.
  15. Me too. Just pulled the last big weekend and shut down Monday. First year I've done mostly FBM and it was a lot of work. Didn't realize how much it was exhausting me until finally I felt good at the gym again last night. I don't mind it, but man it's a "lot of work". Next year I'll be more efficient however 😝
  16. Yeah, that basically was my feeling too. Cost of business.
  17. Think I remember some posts a few weeks ago about shorted Walmart orders. I'm wondering what I can expect today. This weekend I finished accounting for all my purchases these last few weeks and I had one order of 20x MF's. My order says I received three boxes of 8 + 8 + 4 but I actually received 4 "large" boxes of only 15 sets. I don't think I've ever had a missing item from Walmart before but $500 is a big number. I placed many big order from them this year and I'm worried something may come of digging into my purchases. One item I wouldn't sweat it, but I can see this being passed up to supervisors.
  18. I'm surprised they keep running these sales. Usually at this time they ride out full prices. Still a lot of inventory on the shelves yesterday morning but I assume after the weekend it will be a different story.
  19. Yeah, Target can be a real pain. Hate it when I do store pickups and they give me damaged goods. You can't just grab one off the shelf to replace it. They have to do a full return and then do their price adjustments to make it come out right again. And of course you have to wait for the register to become available again to do it. I especially don't like it because Red Cards (especially debit) tend to shut down when you use them too much.
  20. Is this par for the course with Amazon? Buyer returned Gingerbread House. He claimed "inaccurate description" and said he thought it was a newer house. Sent the item back without a box with labels taped on. Received back beat-up box with rips and holes. His address is only 20 minutes from my warehouse so I question if it really was the same set. I've received a lot of stuff without boxes in much better condition. Anyway, I related all that in my claim and the result was GRANTED: claim amount $213.33, reimbursement $46.40.
  21. Nothing left to buy 🤔
  22. Me too. I expect it to happen just really irritating when its seasonal stuff 😡
  23. What's really fun is having your Christmas themed sets sitting in reserved for the past week. Good stuff!
