I bought a fair amount of individual sets from B&N during the sale. Either B&N, or UPS, or both must have employees who also are World Cup players as best as I can tell. Some sets will also be going back because the in-transit holes and openings allowed rain to pool in the box with the lousy job placing them in the plastic bags. But this box was my favorite: Hmm, haven't seen this label before. Probably not a good sign. Ah, yes. Now the label makes sense. The wall of packing tape on the side about matches the side itself. And the obvious results. The foreground corner is heavily reinforced with packing tape. Both original seals and mid section have been popped. I'm guessing that's how "SMD" was able to ascertain that "no visible damage was found" and "the contents have been repackaged"? That's what really grinds my gears. I have to imagine "SMD" checked out the Sealed Bags thread to make sure everything was in there? No f-ing way man. This will be going back along with its water damaged brethren. First world problems, just annoying with the lack of care.

We went there the first time we drove out for me to meet my [now] wife's family. Amazing to see every generation in each hangar! My favorite point was taking the bus over to the R&D/Presidential hangar. So many amazing planes. You can see where they had to had to cut the rear wall of SAM 26000 in order to fit (exciter1 spoiler) Kennedy's casket into the main cabin, rather than placing in the cargo hold.

TRU (and Target) orders after the vacation hold. The nice FedEx guy commented it was "Box Mountain" after he finished. Last TRU order is arriving today! ?

For all of those losing hope - I rolled the dice and bought several 21% off TRU and BRU gift cards (probably $1,000 worth). Mostly to get large exclusives and sale items from online, and the rest to price match in store. All gift cards, no merchandise credit. My first panic was when the store that day refused to price match. Rushed online quickly to buy up Speed Champion sets and small exclusives. Everything was purchased March 16. First item shipped March 19. Then days with nothing shipping, and some with orders going out as partial. Next I got several dreaded delay emails on March 25. Real fear set in with getting gift cards refunded after the end date. Well, the last pending partial order shipped yesterday. Thank the Lego gods! (Everything is on vacation hold, heading home now). Don't lose hope. Even items that I had purchased that had gone out of stock shipped. They must be extremely overrun. Now for the next concern of receiving pancakes. It was foolish to do and I never will again! Best of luck to you all still anxiously waiting. [emoji26] Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

2017 BRICKPICKER LEGO RAFFLE 2.0 FOR ST. PAUL SCHOOL

GBHQ arrived safe and sound! The photo is from a few days ago after yet another storm from this past week. This will be much more enjoyable than the snowblowing and shoveling from the last few days. Thank you once again! -

Sorry everyone, I was the slow-to-respond winner for the GBHQ. I'm thrilled to have won and humbled that I was able to. As with any smart decision, I asked the wife which set to choose because I love building together with her. Life is always busy, but when we have time to build a set, we enjoy taking turns of one person building while the other pulls the pieces. Our last build was the Winter Holiday Train and she loves it. She knows how much I enjoy Ghostbusters, from watching the movies often to having the toys as a child (I had the Kenner HQ and figures but they were garage saled as a pre-teen, terrible decision), she agreed that would be the set to pick. Plus I added maybe we should get the Disney Castle down the road (since this will hopefully entice toward that). The HQ has been on the wishlist for a year now and this will be a wonderful build. Thank you again to Ed, Jeff, and everyone involved. I attended a parochial school growing up so I'm thankful to those who can help out. Please know that this set will have a good home and we'll post some photos once we get building! -

Long time lurker, first time contributor. Good luck to St. Paul School and thanks to Ed, Jeff, and everyone else involved for your hard work and contributions. -
From my post in the Thread of Packaging Excellence, I received my Pet Shop in the no shipping box condition as well. Sigh. Called to complain about that but first asked why the price difference from the Fairgound Mixer hasn't been adjusted. The woman explained that since it's a third party she couldn't adjust the price. The best part is my call log with them even says that the first representative told me they would price match. So pretty much Walmart lied, and it's now my problem. Too tired from a long week to wait time on the phone. I'll call again and speak to a supervisor of how exactly it's my fault when I do as instructed and promised something that then turns out they won't do. Then it'll be off to the credit card company if I don't get anywhere. Despite that I called and got the same price adjustment promise with the Pet Shop. I'll see how that goes too...

Got my $117 Fairground Mixer today. Thanks to Walmart for slapping the shipping labels on the box. The side is open but all the bags are amazingly still there. However, still a phone call for the complaint and now Toywiz will send me their's for only $126 more than I paid Walmart, and Walmart gets to cover that cost. So instead of throwing it in a less than a dollar shipping box they're going to pay a difference in price that's more than what I paid originally. I should have just told them to let me keep it for free and it would save them $9. Save money. Live Better. Whatever.

Not yet, but I do have the option to shave the beard if need be. ;-)

Has anyone had issues with using the 20% coupon multiple times? The associate scanned my the rewards card first then the coupon, is there any concern for them tracking / banning for multiple uses?
