That is the guy from DC comics that is an enemy of the Teen Titans - Deathstroke

I found the website snappy and not bogged down this time. A refreshing change. Got the coin and bought something to redeem it. The sale went through too, instead of not letting me pay. That felt nice as well.

It is finally being released, that is great. My 9 year old has been patiently waiting for a year now

I ended up talking to a CSR at Lego and getting my order and bonus put through. I also had to get the free poly bag shipped separately because they couldn’t add it with the VIP redemption. It was a challenge, but hey, I get a castle coin
-
When you add the redemption code to your cart, does it show up as an item? I tried but didn’t see anything aside from the sets I was buying. thanks

I really wish the new Potter sets would be made available online for us in North America. My son’s birthday is Sept 4th.
-
I can’t find a pic. Any hints?

Thanks very much for the code, I bought the space shuttle for one son's birthday and picked up prison island for my other son's - saved me $48 on what I would have had to buy any way
-
I bought 3 of the SOH at Walmart. Thanks all for the heads up. $1008 all in delivered for 3, that sounds like build one and sell 2 territory to me:)

Don't replace the yellow bits. Go to the drug store and get a bottle of hydrogen peroxide for $2.50 and find yourself a glass bowl or casserole dish that your significant other won't kill you for putting hydrogen peroxide in. Throw the peroxide in the bowl, add said Lego parts and put out in direct sunlight for as long as it takes to make them white again. You can also use a piece of tin foil under the bowl to reflect back more sun. Technically, to get the best effect, you should also add a quarter teaspoon full of an Oxyclean type laundry powder. (I can't remember what the exact ingredient in Oxyclean is but it is the "oxy" part) The hydrogen peroxide on its own will do it though - just over a much longer period of time. I had a very yellowed set 4999 - Vestas Wind Turbine - and after about 8 hours in the summer sun even the yellowest of parts were bright white again. It saved me for sure.

Thank you so much Gravtation. I just ordered 3 more Sea Cows. Can't beat $209 for one and $104 for the second.
-
Yeah, it pays to watch. The only time I have found stock on the Sea Cow is when it came back at full price. I still bought two, but that is almost three at today's price. If only they would get some more stock and I could get lucky
-
Palace Cinema will appreciate more - based on history.
-
Man, I had the Sea Cow in my cart but it was gone by the time I was finishing check out. Bummed to have missed it at that price
-
Thank you Sandwraith157, I just ordered 2.

I can confirm there is a separate piece to replace step 42. It is, however, exactly the same as the page except that they have included a little pic of you peeling the protective sheeting off the mirror before putting it in place. I guess people were confused by that step or something. If you have half a brain, the insert is completely unnecessary. I have to disagree with some of you guys about the one large book for the instructions though. Yes, the book is far better constructed than previous ones, but the fact that it is all in one is problematic for people like us who build together. In the past, my wife would grab one book and I another, and we would build together. That isn't possible now with one large book. Since you can build it in sections, they should keep the instructions in sections. Otherwise, it is a really nice set both to see and to build. The Mixel elements adapt well, and the "new" techniques that they discussed using are fun to try. I had to rebuild the bottom of my Cafe Corner last night and I can tell you they have come a long way in 7 years.

I finished up at about 8:40 west coast time. I was guessing 9pm Pacific would have been the cutoff. -

Thanks for this heads up. I picked over everybody's leftovers to buy a couple of Pet Shops and some Octonauts and Disney Planes Christmas stuff for my kids. Everyone seemed to be taking a shot at the 15% off though. I had 10 things in my cart and only ended up being able to buy 6 of them by the time the checkout process was ending. Stuff was apparently racing out of stock. -
Thanks for this thread. I just bought the last 4 Sopwith Camels on their site. I tried to buy 5, but was denied the 5th. I will pray they come in good condition. It is good to see a little diversity in our buying options creeping in to Canada. We have been quite limited until now.

I looked on Bricklink and the best price is $60 with minor shelfwear on the box. I am thinking you would be dreaming to get $100, but Ebay is Ebay. Good luck. -
It is from set 3053 - Emperor's Stronghold from 1999. It is worth about $7. The part number is 3857

If you look at all the pictures of that place you will see that the Lego building area is actually three sided and the bins hold thousands of bricks. Upstairs they have a built-in wall unit with Lego displayed. My wife liked it so much that we are having a built-in done with the same coloring as theirs. The whole house was redone and looks great.
