Sold my last 75243 Slave 1 for £200 plus shipping. Bought my stock in 2020 at a good discount so turned out to be a pretty good investment. Also sold my last 75929 Carnotaurus Gyrosphere Escape for £120 plus shipping also bought in 2020 with a small discount so an okay investment.

Just sold my last 75950 Aragog's Lair for £32 + Shipping. Worked out perfectly as I've sold about 40 of them over the last year and now the very similar looking 76434 is just about to launch. Not sure that if I'll invest in the new one as the HP range has become a bit too bloated in recent years.

I'm finding I have to keep sets for longer and longer. Ten years ago I would find a reasonable number could be sold for 2-3x retail after a couple of years. Now it seems to be taking 3-4 years for a lot of my sets. I'm not complaining though as it's way better than bank interest.

I'm starting to slowly reduce my Lego stock (I'm only buying 1 or 2 sets for every 10 or so that I sell). I'm also pretty happiest selling small to medium-sized sets.

This week I've sold my last stocks of: 70500Kai's Fire Mech

I was out and about in several toy stores (UK) and supermarkets earlier this week and didn't see a single LOTR or Hobbit set apart from a few of the older Hobbit sets in Toysrus. I know that the themes were not popular with UK retailers and most sets were cleared at half price in the Spring at many retailers. This has got me wondering whether the license will survive in to 2015. There seems little reason for it to carry on. There are no new LOTR sets, the Hobbit film will have been and gone, and the retailers seem to hate them anyway. That might make the last wave Hobbit sets good investments. I plan to buy some but only at a discount. If I miss out so be it, I've got enough of the older sets already. Anyone else share the view that the whole theme is about to go?

I ordered from them on 21st December and got an acknowledgement but I've not received my order yet. I'll chase them up in the next day or two, but wondered if anyone else had ordered and received anything yet.
