  1. Star slicer, star slicer, star slicer, star slicer, chrome gold minifig key chain. (LEGO Shop at Home)
  2. You can always part out the set and sell the minifigs too. Personally, I would get any set that's 50% off retail.
  3. Short supply, quick demand. Definitely will be back soon though. Now, the bigger problem is- The Lego Movie Minifigs sold out at LEGO Shop at Home.
  4. Right now, LEGO Shop at Home U.S. mentions that it will ship in march. I got two that just arrived today. Keep or flip?
  5. Well, if this set follows the same pattern as 21102 did, the initial wave will sell out quickly, and go for a high price for second hand sellers, then Lego waits a few months and creates new stock. Either way, it looks like a great set nonetheless. I'll be grabbing a few just in case.
  6. Well, what do you guys think? There's a 1 per customer limit on LEGO Shop at Home and according to the latest catalog, it was labeled as "Limited Quantity". Is this another potential "21102 Minecraft initially out of stock" investment (only to find that Lego will have more stock later on?)
  7. For $33 at target? Right now, I'm more thinking of buying two on LEGO Shop at Home, get free shipping + clone lieutenant, repeat.
  8. I'm planning on selling it sealed a few years after it reaches EOL. I do feel that this set is a better investment than most non UCS Star WArs sets out there.
  9. Is it worth it to buy this set at full retail (USD)? I've never seen this set go on sale much, and given that its a hard to find set, has some pretty rare minifigs, and that it's going to go EOL pretty soon, should i give it a shot (and get a clone trooper lieutenant in the process)?
  10. I see. Thank you for your opinion.
  11. How much do you think I can get off of it on eBay?
  12. I've bought a 8959 Claw digger off of bricklink for $19 in total including shipping. The set, though does not come with box, instructions, or stickers, but the bags are still sealed. Is it worth buying the rest separately and then sell it, or am I better off keeping this set because of this deal?
  13. I dont know if this was mentioned before, but 75005 Rancor Pit only US $45 on amazon.
  14. Thanks guys. I'm only holding onto two of these, so I'm trying to make the most profit possible. I opened one already and built it (i got #19,300/20,000).
  15. Guys, I'm wondering when is the best time to sell this set. (sorry if I'm too lazy to read every page other to find an answer) Right now, the value is quickly depreciating on ebay, going as little as $300-$250. Is it ever going to rise to $450 again?
  16. Although this is rather unexpected, stuff like this has happened in the past before. To be honest, I'm glad that those sets are gone, and hopefully they will stay that way. I can finally get some serious investing done now.
  17. This has nothing to do with Lord of the rings or the hobbit, but http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Cafe-Corner-10182-Set-Creator-Modular-Building-/111116894825?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item19df154269
  18. Yes, but the rate has slowed down so much (almost exponentially). But anyways, I wish you good luck striking gold in your five boxes.
  19. Yes, for series 10, six minifigures were rare, with only two per box of 60. Uncommon ones (another 6) contained four per box. There were four common ones that had six figs per box.
  20. Here are two images. I removed the top to take a better view. Opinions? I'm planning on buildings a desert well and a desert mountain.
  21. Ok, how can I upload pictures? So far, I've spent about $25 on bricklink getting the pieces, so I'm sketchy on getting even a moderate profits. Btw, sorry for the late reply.
  22. I'm halfway done with creating my own minecraft set, similar style to the 21102. Thoughts and opinions? It will feature a desert biome with well, a Steve figure, chicken mob, etc. Good idea to sell it on ebay or maybe submit to cuusoo?
  23. I'm curious to why the hype died down so quickly. When the series 10 first came out, people were registering Mr. golds like crazy. I'm guessing that Lego isn't releasing all 5000 mr. golds at once, and instead are releaseing so many of them periodically. There might be only, say, 1,500 out there.
  24. What makes the MBA boxes so great? I know that this box isn;t made of paper. Instead, it's made of some sort of glossy, rough plastic. Unfortunately, I think the box will have the tendency to crack.
  25. What country? In the US, nothing on LEGO Shop at Home has changed.
