  1. An awful list. Now there is sometimes I surprise retirement at the end, but it’s been since pre Covid that this happened to my knowledge.
  2. If you have a Target credit card the gift cards are only worth 5 percent more. But just to throw this out there, the Carnage Helmets should be another good to go Sale by next Q4. They disappeared fast.
  3. I always thought POBB was a winner, but not a huge winner. But my disdain for Treehouse is real. That set is going to take a long time to appreciate much.
  4. Lol, I never touched that absolute dog. Treehouse is a dog for sure. Sesame Street will be a winner for sure, even though it’s stacked very deep. As I keep saying, we are going to see a lot of panic selling this Christmas and the coming year.
  5. Worst buy of alltime. I loathe the Treehouse. I will never spend another dollar on that set, I am stacked deep and have held onto this pos for 2 years. Trust me this set is stacked super deep. The Treehouse hysteria was insane.
  6. Absolutely brutal. Look at the prices, by this time every year past, we have started to see the jump in price. Add to it, these very real sales, shows the demand is ebbing and maybe largely. Boys, those of us who are $10’s of thousands in this… are in for a longer hold than comfortable. I think we will see a lot of sellers panic and dump their stuff as they need liquidity.
  7. Still not touching that one, I’m being so much more selective than ever before. The market has changed for the negative so absolutely much, we are finally starting to see supply outpace demand on a lot of retired sets. Amazon ungating so freely has been devastating for the market. I laughed when I saw the treehouses for $175. I got those for $160 two years ago during the panic. I hate that set like no other. Treehouse is my ultimate death set. By all accounts Sesame Street is going to be “expensive” the winner of this cycle. I’ve done this since 2007, it used to be so easy. You really have to look for the sets not hoarded as much now.
  8. Tree House and Cinderellas Castle continues…
  9. Been selling for 13 years, and the glory days are firmly over. Amazon opened the LEGO gate wide open this season and the sellers are insanely high now on listings. Sets that go on deep discounts will no longer be easy money in one or two years. We have to adjust, but more sets that almost never go on sale. Avoid the big sets because of the massive increasing return fraud we are seeing. Duplo, Disney, Ninjago, and Minecraft (nothing new there) will be heavy hitters moving forward. Bird-E needs to be reported by everyone for his dropshipping, he is toxic.
  10. Good Evening everyone, long time collector and seller of LEGO. I live in Florida and do it as a hobby, have had some of the greatest sets of all time in terms of ROI (Ferris Wheel, Taj Mahal, and numerous smaller sets.) So I know alot about the beauty of quick exponential growth through LEGO investing. I think this is a great site to assist others in LEGO investing as we are a small enough community that we can help each other without flooding the market. I intend to advise of when I find any set on clearance at Wal-Mart (using the paid + app now.) Currently this is what I have found: Harry Potter Great Hall 75954 $25 (long sold out) Fire Dragon 71753 $25 Water Dragon 71754 $35 Batman Cowl 76182 $25 Venom 76187 $15 and $30 Scout Trooper 75305 $25 HP Forbidden Forest 75967 $13 Mario Starter Course 71360 $36 (this hasn't been at this price for a long time in my area.) Mario Chain Chomp 71381 $8 Mario Desert Pokey 71363 $7 Mario Whomps 71364 $7 Mario Boomer Bill 71366 $10-$13 Lego Spiderman and Mysterio 76174 $17 These are the main sets, there are a few more random ones that have been store specific, but I recommend scanning all the Marios, Ninjago, Cheap Star Wars, and Harry Potter sets.
