  1. Better than I expected
  2. In my area. I'm going to ask if he/she will sell a few sets individually.
  3. Pics are up at The Brick Fan now I like them!
  4. You're right. But it's more of a personal comparison, rather than a reflection of the market at large. I'm just happy if I can get one of each set with my small Lego budget.
  5. You're probably right. But I'm not going to risk it again after the exo suit/research institute fiasco. Better to be safe than sorry. Plus I'll still get the retro spaceman for this month. Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to get for October...
  6. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a WVM. I was planning to wait until October, but I'm not sure it will last that long!
  7. Maybe it's a bunny dressed in a bat costume for Halloween. Maybe?
  8. Well there was a whole empty shelf in that first room, which I thought was kind of weird since there were some sets on the floor. The organization was just...odd
  9. I was surprised that this person didn't organize sets by theme/subtheme. Many of them are labeled, but it seems like they're just scattered around in different parts of the room.

  11. I tried to spread them out over a variety of themes. Here are the top ten iconic sets from my childhood to present day: 1. 6769 Fort Legoredo - Western 2. 5571 Giant Truck- Model Team 3. 10188 Death Star- Star Wars 4. 8880 Supercar- Technic 5. 6071 Forestmen's Crossing- Castle 6. 4558 Metroliner - Trains 7. 928 Space Cruiser and Moonbase - Space 8. 10182 Cafe Corner - Modulars 9. 6285 Black Seas Barracuda - Pirates 10. 9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep- LOTR I believe these to be the defining sets for each theme
  12. Welcome fellow Raleigh resident.
  13. Favorite castle set as a child- 6071 Forestmen's Crossing. Coincidentally this was also my first Lego set. I have many happy memories of tossing knights off the top of that bridge. Favorite castle set as an adult- 10193 Medieval Market Village. There are so many good things to say about this set. I actually laughed out loud when I found the "surprise" in the horse stall. Ha!
  14. Before I start the reply, what's the best price you can get a Helm's Deep for easily at a retailer near you right now? The lowest is
  15. Lego in the UK say "No and "No" - to me anyway. I shredded my VIP card and annual Legoland pass last night and posted it back to them and told them to shove them and my
