Through EBay but paid with PayPal. I got an email from eBay after my post saying there is an update to my shipping label. They changed the weight from 6+ lbs to 18 lbs. I know the weight wasn’t off by 13 lbs! Not sure what’s going on.

Question, this is my first time selling with eBay GSP global shipping. I paid for shipping when creating the shipping label. Then a week later PayPal charged another shipping charge and referenced the same tracking number (a lower $$ number than the initial one). Is this typical? What is the second charge for?

I love Lowenstein but the scale will be a little off next to blacksmith's hut. Lowenstein had to keep under 2,000 pieces and had very little interior space. I built mine plus the expansion and loved it, but the mill and medieval village does look a little too large next to it. It does serve as a very nice background though! No doubt this hut will have more interior space than Lowenstein. I'd post a pic but Imgur is currently down.

Looks to me like the designer wants to make it seems like the top of the roof is catching sunlight while the bottom of the room is kind of still in the shade.

I like this a lot. Looks like plenty of room with 3 stories. This is a fine design as long as we don't compare to the original submission!

I use an iPhone and noticed that Tapatalk automatically loads audio ads when I open the app. It plays even when my phone is on silent mode. The only way to mute it is to turn the volume all the way down. Is there a way to disable these ads or have all audio on Tapatalk muted? I already disabled all videos from loading automatically in settings but doesn’t seem to do anything with the audio.

I was right there when the sales started and this was sold out from the beginning. I suspect the bots got them all.

My hands were messed up because of eczema. I tried lotion and aquafor and while they help, they don't heal my skin. Per my wife suggestion, I have been applying squalane oil on my skin 1-2 times a day for the past few months, and bit by bit the dry patches went away and no more itchy skin. Sure the eczema came back when it got dry again or when I forget to apply the oil for days at a time, but as long as I use the oil it keeps it away and my skin have been restored to its more youthful version. I also put on hydrocortisone or triamcinolone acetonide on an as needed basis. The squalane oil I use is made by Biossance and it's made from sugar cane, not from poached whales.

I've got a 0 feedback new buyer in Wisconsin who just registered. It's running a flag for me since he paid good money on shipping and the total turns out much higher than other listings with free shipping. Advice? Should I message him to confirm? Or should I just cancel? Or just ship it and see what happens?

So after redeeming for a pair, how do you actually get them? No code, no filling in shipping address, nothing, just an email congratulating you that you redeemed it.

I would guess it's because it's a foreign buyer as well. Sometimes we get foreign buyers with domestic shipping addresses. As far as I can tell, there is no way to know until you look at the Paypal transaction and calculate the fees like you have done.

I was having these issues a month ago and eBay caught one of four unauthorized transaction before shipping. Sounds like they are catching them faster now. Since then I stopped listing high value items >$300 and haven’t had problems. It sucks not only because of stress from fear of loosing money and having to spend time to refund and follow up, but also because of knowing the sets are contributing to scammers’ illegitimate profit instead of going to a home where the Lego is being built and enjoyed. This is completely separate and different from the set of scammers with the forwarding company and buyer opening cases 5.5 months after. Just too many scammers these days.
