  1. I had been planning on doing this but work schedule always got in the way of show dates. Set up wasnt bad. Pulling and pricing the sets took forever. I just pulled and packed boxes like I was shipping in to Amazon-. A few things I noticed at my show..... The 5 for $20 polybags sold really well and did even better when I put out the bins of my extra polybags and just let people big through the bins. Ninjago is still hot. Sold whatever polybags , small sers and TRU fig packs I had. Sold very little Star Wars or Super Hero sets. I thought about bringing displays and selling individual minifigs but didnt have the time to price and set them up. Most loose figs I have are on my Bricklink store and didnt want to mess with rhat just for the show.
  2. Good one for the kids, lots of minifigures and only 2 stickers that actually look great once applied. I need to get the $300 15th anniversary set to finish out the series but probably will pass unless it goes to 40% off. Build 8 Display 6 Play 7 Value 7
  3. Four Weapons Blacksmith, I was able to get this set for $60 during the Kohls sale but this is what a $100 Lego set is today with 1259 pieces and 6 minifigures one of which is going for $40 so not a bad deal. Supposedly the set is very true to the show but I have never seen an episode so I can’t comment on that. The build starts off amazingly with a SNOT brick built base and surroundings that is complex and top notch. The cobblestone floor is a “groundbreaking”technique not seen in much more expensive sets. The set is kind of reminiscent of the medieval blacksmith but on a smaller scale, but then we get to the roof. The roof is 5 of the 12 bags and is lackluster and repetitive but looks good although it definitely could have been more ornate. A few easy to apply stickers are included as well. There is really only one play feature, an “exploding” hidden map and then imagination. There are a few really nice easter eggs tucked away in the walls of the set. I think kids will love playing with this one. Build 8 10 for the base/first floor and 6 for the roof so overall an 8 Display 7 primarily looks good from the front Play 7 Value 6 I would pick this one up if you can get it for 40% off but even at $80 it is pricey.
  4. Well Lego listened to me, looks like 3D printed wheels in this set. Unfortunately, it looks like a limited promo with that set number.
  5. It has been a long time since I have posted anything. Mainly because I have been working on selling at comic book/toy shows. This is a video my buddy Mardigrasman23 on YouTube filmed at my first show ever. Hopefully soon I will have my Bricklink store and my Youtube channel up and running. https://youtu.be/57mvWHmR2Kw

  7. To me, it’s pretty simple. it is a consumer experience issue. Amazon wants a clean, streamlined catalog across thousands of branded products. When a customer searches for something basic, like a box of Kleenex, and gets hundreds of nearly identical listings, it creates confusion. Some are legitimate variations, but many are duplicate listings or custom bundles created by sellers. That starts to feel more like an eBay style experience, not what Amazon is aiming for. It makes sense that Amazon wants to simplify the catalog. It improves usability, reduces clutter, and helps address safety and counterfeit concerns by keeping listings brand-approved. Does this approach make sense for every brand? Maybe not. But Amazon isn’t evaluating this case by case they’re applying a broad policy, not running a jury trial for each brand.
  8. Yes, the exclusion list is longer than one of my set reviews 🤣 I’m waiting for May 4th Rak will have 15% CB ETA: All 18+ sets are excluded
  9. @BrickLegacy got a wedding to pay for .. that will have to wait
  10. I won't be convinced until all the Blepin is gone.
  11. Shelby Cobra: Build 9 Display 7 Play 5 Value 4 This is an amazing build with two new to me techniques and a bunch of SNOT brick sub assemblies that I really enjoyed. Only 3 stickers that are all easily applied. Should have come with a Shelby minifigure instead of a trophy and tool box. Now that we have Mattel to compare to the biggest let downs are the wheels with mismatched rim hubs, imagine if these were metal, and the exhaust tips are atrocious should have been metallic silver like the rest of the parts. The engine build is really simple with no working transmission. Finally, it is smaller than the other more recent icons cars and is definitely overpriced for $160. I would still recommend this set if you can pick it up for $120.
  12. The show went ok. I learned a lot. Things I never thought would sell sold quickly and sets I thought would be a hit never even had any interest. The show wasnt a super big show. Only about 4000 attendees. Financially I did good but I was thinking I would do better.
  13. Sets arrived minty. Got the VIP points just waiting on the Rak.
  14. This is my first build that I will share with you! The M:Tron Mining Base! The Story The mine supplies the galaxy with all the Brickonium found in these mountains. The base has operated for quite some time now without any Blacktron interference. The Classic Space Command Center has sent a Galaxy Explorer to check up and make sure everything is running smoothly. The magnetic crane is loading the freighter with the precious crystal, as the satellite towers control air flight and help the freighters leave the atmosphere safely. The Build The build took me about 25 to 30 hours to complete over the course of 10 to 12 days. I had a blast! The mountain scape was slightly difficult at the corners, and the base was a little tricky to get smooth with the mountain as well. Over all I had so much fun designing every little detail and feature and of course choosing the minifigures for the set. Below, you can see the photos I have taken. First up! The main image. This shot shows most of the model. This one is of the side. It's slightly easier to see all the action. I really like how you can see the freighter leaving the base. This shot gives a clear view of the back. There are those greedy Blacktrons who might be trying to cause some trouble! The satellite towers are easier to see too. Up next, the top view! This shot kind of gets everything, doesn't it? This one is an up-close of the magnetic crane loading the freighter. No M:Tron build would be complete without magnets! Now here you can see the mine shaft. All the mine cars are traveling to and from it with loads of Brickonium. And finally, the minifigures! The best part of the build (in my opinion). There are two M:Trons, a blue Classic Space astronaut, and a Blacktron. Thank you so much for reading! I appreciate it! See you in the next one! 15. Italian Riviera I am not a fan of the color choices especially the flesh tone building but they are true to the source. Nice 360 modular style build, excellent rock work to build up the base. Pricey, if you can only get one go with the Botanical Garden set. Build 7 Display 8 Play 5 Value 4 Up next Shelby Cobra.

  29. First, Bricksie is leaving the LEGO Ambassador Network to retain more control over their content and reduce pressure to make set reviews. Next, SlapShotBricks rather continue being fully independent than join. And then Brick Building Dad is simply burnt out. All this posted on the same day, two days ago as of posting.

  33. I love that band member!
  34. I assume there is nothing I can do but I just received a return request for the UCS Gunship. Customer says they received a box of trash. All sets were purchased from Amazon and Lego. I know Amazon does log customer activity to track patterns. Should I report so it at least goes into his history? Or does that just draw unwanted attention and scrutiny?
