Completed the Disney Castle. One of those sets that I waited too long to purchase but was able to acquire with some help from a new friend. Enjoyed the build with the subtle touches to movies, characters from long ago.

I know someone who went through this recently (and was reinstated), actually a lot of ppl, but in their cases there was always a virtual interview, not radio silence....

Six years of work from the animator behind the TIE Fighter anime from.... nine years ago now. Damn. I remember posting that short film way back when.

Very interesting video.....I never knew TLG produces more tires worldwide yearly than Goodyear and Michelin....And u gotta love all those black bricks

If you start worrying about that then you might have problems purchasing most of anything on Amazon. If you will check the names of the companies selling those sets you will see names like XXXXX Books and XXXXToys. Maybe not all but I have to assume that many have LEGO buyer accounts. I do know that they often do not get a choice of which LEGO sets arrive to them. And a retailer's mindset is to "clear the shelf" not "does this set have 5 unique minifigures that will make it valuable 2-3 years from now?" if this set has been a little slow for them then I can see them foregoing their profits in an effort to just break even and make room for new sets coming out. Of course, I could be wrong. I often am.
