  1. Best guess on quantities produced based on current availability/observation across channels Lego will produce any active set you want, You could ask for 100,000 and they will make it. I think it would be impossible to ever figure out true numbers, As you don't know who is buying stuff.

  2. This guy is nearly delusional and totally unwatchable another Patreon hero. He says no way to loose money with all of the discounts, GWP, CB and points. He sells on eBay and went deep on this set that he says he is still making money on. 1 sold 59 available: https://www.ebay.com/itm/276475735276?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Cd-UKxTCQAu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=Kogj7Ln_Twa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY You used to be able to get unlimited BHZ including retired sets from LL NY but have per order limits and shipping. You can hit up multiple Lego stores daily if you live in the correct area, do this full time, and/or have no life while still making those purchases on your account. If a BHZ set has a limit of 5 and goes on sale it looks like you can get 15 that the price change down and back up resets the limit which also resets in time around 10 months IME. Some special people still have access to quantity and backroom deals. One eBay seller on here was able to get a large quantity of those D&D Mimic Box GWPs all miraculously damaged somehow. But online only from Lego proper to get the super stack you have to use F&F or risk orders being cancelled or being banned. All of that BHZ money adds up and would have been better going towards getting more 80039 instead of 40549.

  3. I agree with you. I learn from his analysis too. The only think I don't get when initially sharing his video is how you can consistently getting at least 40% discount of the same Exclusive LEGOs (the video I shared talks about BHZ) by leveraging GWP, CB, Insider points, etc) after you hit the limits.

  5. Idk, after taking a look at this video, I'm pretty impressed with his thorough analysis: Amazon vs. eBay prices (current and sold) and sales velocity How many sets are currently for sale on those channels Historical discounts offered throughout the set's lifecycle Best guess on quantities produced based on current availability/observation across channels Philosophical take on the future buyer's motivations to buy this set I'm not saying others don't provide this information, but he's bringing all of these variables together for a complete picture to make your best guess. We might disagree with his conclusions, but we can't discount all of the underlying variables he brings to the table to make his decision. This dude does his research and we can leverage that research to make our own decisions. And, he's humble, consistently saying "This is my take, yours may be different based on the provided information". I'm happy his channel was shared on BP. I subscribed, but would never do his Patreon lol.

  7. I started doing reselling as a side hobby in 2014. It was fun and I generally made some extra money for family vacations. I was out of the game during the pandemic (RN by trade and working 60 hour weeks). I started reselling my old inventory this year and unfortunately stumbled upon some of these channels… So much bad information! Overhyping the same sets, overselling the opportunity for discounts, and almost no focus on the selling aspect of reSELLING. I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure I could offer better information than these hucksters. At least they help me focus on what sets to avoid.
