I wonder if this works for them at other merchants? When I go out to dinner tonight and the waitress asks for my card to pay, can I instead demand to pay with seashells?

Also if the figure is fragile like a General Grievous or something, it gets boxed, but I'm pretty much along these lines. Small packages are priced the same whether a box or bubble mailer, so shipping safer doesn't cost you any more in shipping, though the box itself may be pricier by a certain % over the mailer depending on how much bulk you buy in.

Well put. It reminds me of my father. Once, as a child, we went to Walmart in the morning to make a return, but the clerk refused. My dad calmly said, "No worries." Confused, I asked him why he didn't argue. He just said, "You'll see." Later that day, we returned at 6 pm and encountered a different clerk who processed our return without asking questions. Never take no for an answer, but do it politely, then wait for the next employee shift.
