Built the new Creator 3-in-1 astronaut. It ended up being slightly bigger than I thought it'd be and I didn't know it was designed to house a minifigure in the helmet. Picture next to Saturn V for scale with some of my space stuff.

I and my children did some building yesterday. I built the fishing shop that I finally bought about a month ago after wanting it for quite a while.

Better?

I spent a couple hours fine tuning Rivendell yesterday, applied stickers, placed minifigures and added a few parts I ordered with many more to go, but need to find a better way to display it. It would look great on my dresser with the mirror behind it but goes against the no Lego in the bedroom rule ETA: Oh, and I hung Starry Night

Been messing around with the City Tuning Garage set attempting to turn it into a MOD.

Just finished Tower Bridge. Really enjoyed it and it just looks impressive once complete.

Built Diagon Alley with my son last weekend, that was a lot of fun.

You are right. We are always so busy spending money on sets, we forget they are supposed to be built. I really think the "What LEGO set did you buy today?" thread has very useful information on a daily basis. I think this thread will offer similar insights to different sets that might not be apparent by looking at a box. I really want people to share their opinions on all sorts of sets and hope this leads to a quality library of LEGO SET REVIEWS.

2x 10233! It's awesome! Just waiting on my PF train motor, LEDs and speed controller to get here for it to be truly "done."

Went on a recent building binge with my son, and was able to do some reviews on them. We built Jabba's Palace and Rancor Pit Goblin King Battle Mirkwood Spiders Bag End He took it upon himself to find Bespin Planet set and build the Twin Pod Cloud Car. It had been a long time since I had opened a set for building that wasn't bought with the sole intention of being built since it was a present to him. I am still wanting to build one of my Town Hall's to add to the city, but have nowhere to put it right now since our new place is small on display space.

Love this set. I need to buy a used one that I can build.
