  1. 5 Minutes later a new message comes. Me: Oh no what now? New Message: Hey so that first message that I just sent you may disregard.... I am actually an idiot and did see the minifigures hidden within in the bag. I had not opened any bags at time of messaging you and just went to record the opening, now realizing my mistake. The thing is, I had experienced a scam middle of last year where the minifigures were stolen from "sealed" sets. This was via a seller on Bricklink who was not even aware of the tampering himself. It was quite the headache but were able to sort it out. I had panicked a bit early when I had noticed some of the same signs like tampered exterior seal and defects in the plastic bags. I apologize for any acquisition or panic, sorry!

  2. A LOT of people missed out on this set and this will be a more affordable way for them to add it to their collection. Plus it is a great series of 4 sets that will all connect and display beautifully. Ninjago fans, Collectors and completionists got get them all.

  3. I read that as well. 2X VIP destroys that argument and so does the fact that you will still have $4K worth of Lego on hand to obtain the VIP points, but even so I would rather have $4K worth of Lego sets and all 4 GWP than just the 4 sets whose RRP is $1,250 but maybe my math is off. Hopefully, there was an issue with translation, point/yuan conversion, accuracy or all and in the USA they will be a GWP with $250 spend or 3250 points. I guess we will find out for sure by the 17th if not sooner. Oh, if there was an Exclusive Golden minifigure in each one that would really make a difference.

  5. The building app for iOS has been updated with all of the 1/1/2024 Retired sets listed as such even though Lego Dot Com still doesn’t have the designation. You can no longer view them all easily by theme you have to tap on the set of interest to see the status.

  6. There is nothing about this Ninjago city GWP that looks like $50 other than its difficulty to get, seems small, small pieces and nothing that unique. Need to wait for more info on it I guess? Am I missing something?

  7. Sold a New Sealed Lego Passenger train. Buyer's son built it, played with it and started a return because one of the train cars was not "sticking" to the others. I assume the magnets weren't lined up properly and tried to explain this but they didn't speak good English. Bases of the return was that the Lego set was "defective". I normally don't accept returns but of course it "wasn't as described." I Called Ebay to get advice on how I should handle this since taking it back would mean I'm getting a used set back. I explained to Ebay the predicament I'm in and they said not to worry so I refused the return. Buyer was allowed to keep the set and was fully refunded. Apparently accepting the return and then advising Ebay that it was not in the condition I sent it in is what I should of done. Doubt if the outcome would of been any different. Another one taken up the ying yang.
