  2. Finished Viking Village it is a good build, display and play set but not great in any one of those three areas. Also, a good PPP value with no stickers, but the minifigures are severely lacking it could have used 6 but if we got just one more that was done really well with arm printing and a unique weapon that would have been nice. If it goes on sale at Target even for 10% off I would grab it Up next is Starry Night.

  3. The wife just built The Insects set and I have to say it is quite cool! Great detail, good scale, lots of potential if they decided to continue the theme (which they probably won't).

  4. If selling the whole lot prepare to take a 20-30% loss opposed to selling individually. You may cherry pick older/rare ones to sell individually & try to sell the rest as a lot. Check ebay sold listings to know what to expect & ask. List them here, you'll get an offer or two.

  5. Yeah Eldorado doesn’t do it for me either. I think they adhered a bit too much to original set though the addition of the boat was a nice touch. If a set can wow me then I don’t mind paying a premium for it.

  6. Built several sets over the holidays. The 76911 DB5 was a gift from my boys. This was my first of the larger Speed Champion sets, which I think I like a little more than the smaller ones. I've been watching some Jang reviews, so I may be more sensitive to the sticker issues because of that, but the color match of the stickers is not there and the two on each side are large and stand out. The 75890 F40 was because my youngest really didn't know I sold Lego and had a bunch of sets in storage. When I showed him, this is what he picked out. I don't really enjoy building these smaller models. The 76237 Thanos ship thing was half off damaged box. It's fine. Pretty good for swooshing and you get a Captain Marvel figure that you can beat up on. The 753118 Baby Yoda was more than half off damaged box. The build was good, it was what I expected, but the finished model looks good on display.

  8. Well, since you just have 10 Speed Champions sets I would bundle them together and put them up on Ebay as a package.

  10. It needed a boat. Or some marauders attacking. Like you said it is only good. But not interesting enough for me to want to display.

  11. I heard about a castle based GWP is coming maybe later this year. One involving a wizard and maybe a few knights? I will wait until that is released.

  12. I saw on Reddit or something about a guy using an endoscope to look in the boxes and thought that was kind of hilarious and brilliant. I already had a little one for ear cleaning that I bought on a whim - it connects to your phone via wifi. I bought a single series 25 figure the other day for fun and checked it when I got home, and found I had a detective before opening it. It left a little bruising around the corner hole, but nothing big enough for parts to fall out. I probably wouldn't use it in a store though, as that's weird. Here is a still from a video and a link to the reddit thread:
