  1. Pump the brakes on the USPS hate. As a former USPS employee, it's a tough job. “Because the mail never stops. It just keeps coming and coming and coming, there's never a let-up. It's relentless. Every day it piles up more and more and more! And you gotta get it out but the more you get it out the more it keeps coming in. And then the bar code reader breaks and it's Publishers Clearing House day.”

  2. I don't see any appeal in that winning set that they'll end up making. When I heard that the winning creation on the show would become an official set, I thought for certain that they would make the last challenge have some sort of classic theme: build a castle, or a spaceship, or some huge modular. But this plane thing that won is just godawful as a mass-produced set. It's far too personal to the builders, and while I can understand the creativity and the reason that it could win a competition like this, I have no interest in owning it whatsoever, and I sincerely doubt that I'll be alone in that. I thought this was a great idea by Lego (the winning creation becoming a set), but it could not have gone worse for them. This thing will be on perma-sale. That said, I hope they do this again with the next season, but put a lot more thought into the parameters of the championship challenge.

  5. The Amazing Spider-Man. This set is AMAZING a 9 out of 10 build and display. I usually only build 2 bags an evening but with this set I couldn't wait to finish it as it was so enjoyable. If you can find it on sale for $160 or less I highly recommend it. It looks amazing and easily a top 10 build set of 2023.

  8. Wow. These are decent, but out of so many great submissions that were eligible this round I really would like to know more about how they pick the ones they do. So many great ideas left behind. It seems nearly impossible these days to be selected for production.

  9. Yeah, I'm putting the latest Lego IDEAS selection in the complaints thread. I literally sent this image to my wife yesterday because I thought it was the silliest submission. I actually love the perfect Taylor Lautner minifig, though and the house build is really quite nice.

  10. I'm lucky. I keep my LEGO/BrickLink Store/warehouse in a business incubation program. I'm in a large building with about 20 other start-up companies. I've been there for 8 years so I should be hatched by now. We have our own little mailroom with individual P.O. boxes for every business and a room behind it for FedEx/UPS/USPS packages. When I ship, I just drop bubble mailers in the mail slot and put the larger packages in the outgoing section of the package room. I don't do Amazon anymore but, when I did, it wasn't uncommon for me to have 30-40 boxes going out a day, particularly in September. Jeez, what a time saver to be able to just sit them in the room for pickup. Plus, I can work all night and sleep during the day, when deliveries and pick-ups are made. I haven't stood in a postal line in over 8 years. Chamber of Commerces generally don't do a very good job of advertising local business incubator programs. If you are looking to move your business out of your home and would love to have a small warehouse and office area for about the same cost as a good self-storage unit, then I would check my local Chambers of Commerce to see if they have a program in your area.

  12. I am shipping several packages via USPS Ground Advantage today because Amazon's Buy Shipping is showing that all the delivery dates for that service are by December 22. I have doubts, but we'll see.

  15. About a week and a half ago I gave up on USPS for the rest of the year. They’re grounded advantage is taking 14 days longer than the four days it is supposed to. Better to lose a few dollars upgrading the customer to UPS. Thanks, Mr. DeJoy! You really are ruining it. Nice job.

  16. Not an eBay thing, but Amazon Warehouse Deals. I bought some boxes from it and they sent me a box filled with hay.

  17. Still learning the hard way each year lol. Nothing is going to go out through USPS the remainder of the year, but its good to know. Locally we have had multiple USPS workers sending out plea's for people to apply to USPS on reddit and other local forums. It's pretty bad. Each day I've went in the lines were hours long and looked like my warehouse after black friday. Packages falling all over stacked in every corner of the store with one disgruntle employee yelling at people

  18. The LEGO Insiders Target Reward functionality is a complete joke, at least for online Target orders.... Submitted the invoice from the Target app - rejected because it doesn't show the date of purchase Submitted a PDF print of the order confirmation - rejected because "the item is not a lego item" (I bought the succulents set and it is visible on the picture in the PDF). WTF.
