I'm just glad to see no one is purchasing the sets I am. Im either amazing or maga level stupid.

I (along with many others) got banned 6 years ago and didn't get back in until they had their computer system revision two years later. Got a snarky letter from TLG lecturing me that LEGO was for children, not adult resellers. It even stated that I was banned from their stores. Of course, they couldn't enforce this in the US but I couldn't use a VIP card. As a matter of fact, I lost close to $300 in VIP points at the time. When I called the US CS to plead my case, they flat out told me that I was caught because I used the same email address at both Amazon (as a seller) and ebay. Of course, my next question was "How the hell do you know what email that I use at those sites?" They declined to answer. I think about that whole "LEGO is for children" crap every time that they release another 18+ or $500+ set.

I do pickup in store whenever I can.

lolol I got banned for a set they never even shipped. Hidden Side castle kept getting canceled, so when it popped back in stock I kept trying. These were orders of 1 at a time. Got banned, they told me it was because I went over the limit on that set and that the ban is permanent. But I was still welcome to shop in physical stores. Even when presented with those facts, they still wouldn't budge. They were probably upset that they kept shipping promos and canceling the sets I actually wanted to pay for. Who knows at this point. But in the end it seems to be a good thing. I rarely touch anything anywhere near RRP at this point, and promo values have tumbled hard. My buy-in average is much lower than it was before my ban. If there is a promo I believe in, I can swing by the store that's 2 minutes off my normal route home.

Mickey and Minnie in any condition would sell pretty well right now.

kohls has taken a serious downgrade for me this year, 14 out of 15 orders medium to small orders come in plastic bags smashed, even with orders of 4 items they manage to ship them all individually in plastic bags. Just not worth the effort on some of these for this tired old man.

I was surprised on the last order, since I was already over the limit had just ordered at RRP on 10/31 to get the Galileo GWP, placed 11/23 for 5 on BO but they shipped 12/4. Perhaps the BO status helped me sneak by. ETA: Normally I would be getting 2 orders of 2X CNY to get both GWP the 2X VIP and CB but they don't sell well and the Target price was $20 less. Not sure what they base this pricing algo on and how they determine the price that we as sellers should sell. Been selling 31048 between $109-124. Listing is now deactivated and the bot wants me to sell at 49.99. There is no product in other marketplaces. I have it listed at $124 at walmart. Worst part is I have a bunch at FBA and all those are stranded at the most busiest time of the year. I've tried the trick to keep adjusting the prices 6-7 times. But not sticking. Same with 21050. Was selling well at $499. Now bot wants the price to be below 250 and many more Had to vent. Sorry

Three words - Disney Star Wars! Star Wars sets before disney took over didn't take much effort to make money off waiting to sell them a year or two after retirement. Today, that's not as much of the case. About 3/4 of the Star Wars theme that lego produces is garbage. So, it's not like it used to be. It's much more challenging today than it used to be. That's why I'd rather just buy icons sets (that haven't been rehased, or remade) and hold them for a while, and stay clear of star wars. I've taken haircuts on disney star wars sequel trilogy sets.
