  2. @gmpirate Absolutely spot-on. Once eBay nabs their 14% cut and you're shelling out at least $8 for shipping, the charm of GWPs isn't what it used to be. We've gotten pretty good at pegging eBay's going rates for these—Tier 1 GWPs hit around $65 at their peak, then mellow out to $45. Tier 2 dips from $45 to $30, and Tier 3 slides from $30 to $20. Strip away the sentimentality, and we can all agree on which tier they land in. Personally, I'm in it for "keeps" now—if it's a Tier 2 I like, such as Majisto, it's mine. Flipping for profit, like with Galileo, isn't in my game plan anymore. Still, cashback offers can tempt me into picking up a Tier 2 or 3 I'm not keen on. No cashback, no deal. Another recent temptation has been the cheap rates of Ground Advantage, which save me about $5 on the regular. But let's be real, holding onto a Tier 2 or 3 isn't a smart play long-term. They don't get much advertisement, so newcomers aren't even aware they exist—which tanks any extra profit you might make on Amazon. This lack of awareness is probably the biggest hurdle, no matter the tier.

  4. These Sitcom sets...I still think the jury is out to some extent on their longterm (for those hoping for the x3+rrp appreciation). Big Bang Theory is sniffing this. I just checked recent solds on Ebay and Central Perk is closing in on x2 (if you got it for perma sale price)...that ain't bad, especially know how much its been hoarded. If it continues to rise it will trigger additional waves of Hoarded releases so I see a ton of head winds for this set. I think after a few years...if these sets start really climbing...the apartment version of the MFs will be much more valuable since they come from a more expensive set (common for Lego MF price appreciation). For me personally I love the shows. Friends especially (started watching in college so gets me in the feels). I am hoping to build my Sitcom Tower someday...should be a super cool project..so I need to make sure I get all of them.

  5. Yes, and I'm using it to offload them. I need to get rid of this set.

  6. I hope so, I'm sitting on a bunch of these things. I thought this set would never die.

  7. Took advantage of the Fleet Farm sale and bought an extra copy of 75369 and 75344. Used them to build the Ultimate Boba Fett Mech from Rebrickable.com. I made a few adjustments to use a more of the parts and lower the jet pack. 2nd pic is the leftover parts from both sets.

  8. They are turning out so many GWP's and re-releasing them so often that they really aren't the incentive they once were. Great for an additional discount on a sale set that is retiring but that's about it. Plus a have a bunch of GWP's that are not even searchable on Amazon 😡
