@gmpirate Absolutely spot-on. Once eBay nabs their 14% cut and you're shelling out at least $8 for shipping, the charm of GWPs isn't what it used to be. We've gotten pretty good at pegging eBay's going rates for these—Tier 1 GWPs hit around $65 at their peak, then mellow out to $45. Tier 2 dips from $45 to $30, and Tier 3 slides from $30 to $20. Strip away the sentimentality, and we can all agree on which tier they land in. Personally, I'm in it for "keeps" now—if it's a Tier 2 I like, such as Majisto, it's mine. Flipping for profit, like with Galileo, isn't in my game plan anymore. Still, cashback offers can tempt me into picking up a Tier 2 or 3 I'm not keen on. No cashback, no deal. Another recent temptation has been the cheap rates of Ground Advantage, which save me about $5 on the regular. But let's be real, holding onto a Tier 2 or 3 isn't a smart play long-term. They don't get much advertisement, so newcomers aren't even aware they exist—which tanks any extra profit you might make on Amazon. This lack of awareness is probably the biggest hurdle, no matter the tier.

Death Star, Gringott's Vault, Clone Wars Collectible (unicorn Tier 1 status), and maybe Celebration 100 (it did go to the 60's but has fallen fast since).

They need to change that algorithm.

this is not your first rodeo kohls sends unsellable product in plastic bags for 6 years now. this is always reported on bp. you were surprised you received unsellable product? don't buy from kohl's anymore. or best buy or fleet and farm. these retailers have been shipping items in plastic bag for many years now. they suck. this is nothing new. i don't care how good the price is, i would never order product from these retailers because i know i will end up wasting more time than i saved in money. i will never get that time back or be compensated adequately for it. maybe parter outers it is working for them to get great deals on smashed sets in mylar bags but for selling on amazon, no way. i would take all the product back to kohls and demand a full refund and never waste my time with them again.

He was on it and shipped it out the same day w/tracking, Nov 1st. The conversion rate got messed up too, so he quickly refunded the difference to come out to $162. Huge shoutout to FAVRSKOV for one of the best international transactions I've had.

They are turning out so many GWP's and re-releasing them so often that they really aren't the incentive they once were. Great for an additional discount on a sale set that is retiring but that's about it. Plus a have a bunch of GWP's that are not even searchable on Amazon 😡

They had at least one threat of a hack. Someone posted on a hacked account with threats and demands that would begin in an hour if they did not receive payment. Delete store inventories, they have payment info, etc., those kind of threats. It reads like 3 messages in one with not quite perfect English phrasing so who knows if it's just an empty threat or if it's legit. Who knows how long the site will be down, but at least it means less work today for me! So yes, unusual activity indeed.

For some reason most lego youtubers make those stupid faces for their videos. I have no idea why it's a trend. Because it makes them look a little bit lame.
