  2. Interesting to note that this set is limit 3 during VIP early access when usually the more expensive D2C sets it is 1 or 2. Well Jay from Jays Brick Block had reported that when he got to tour Lego Headquarters last fall that this set was done and ready to go but Lego delayed it because they thought it would cannibalize sales of another set, can’t remember which one at this time. Jay and another LAN member got to play with it and had to keep this secret with no leaks for a year, what a test. So they may have a lot of these on hand perhaps with older seal code dates.

  3. I made a couple orders to get the GWPs. Some decent sales on retiring HP stuff to meet the threshold.

  5. Some sets were probably overproduced, like 71748. But in general when it's 4-6 weeks or temporarily unavailable (75302 had been temporarily unavailable for 6 months), this is just a bug I believe - these sets will never be in stock. When you see Amazon EU selling stuff AND it's available, this can be Amazon's feature for FBA - there's a setting where you can allow Amazon to buy your stock and sell globally. Happens to my stock often, when I see Amazon as a buyer. So Amazon advertises listings and if someone buys, Amazon will pay some EU seller and use their stock to fulfil the order. Very occasionally though Amazon truly finds some old dusty stock and sell it themselves. I bought a few 21045 before Christmas and they were showing "Temporarily Out of Stock". Couple of days ago got email with estimated delivery in 2 weeks. Let's see... In UK pretty decent. Max 7-10 days to get it checked in, then further 5-10 days if stock being send to another warehouse. All my shipments (around 70) from beginning of August have been received in full

  6. lol, yeah it wasnt a parable, true story happened last month. Max isnt bad! But, like everyone has pointed out, we're all here pretty much hunting for the "atypical sales" not the perma-sale 20% type deals. Especially these days, that strategy no longer works like it once did. So max's utility isnt what it once was. And he buries the more interesting deals.

  7. It's funny how Max is getting personified. He's a bot. But what if that wasn't true... imagine that Max is a real human being with a passion for sharing deals, and this dude is doing everything manually -- every 45 minutes he's manually checking prices on every Amazon product page, then updating the spreadsheet (one by one) to post here. If this is true, then everything must remain constant, Hi Max! If it is not, then Max gets the whole court, and a "Non-Max Alternative" thread must begin.

  8. Lego 75347 TIE Bomber on that page for $52. With $10 more off, that puts it down to $42, or 35% off. Picked one up, thanks!

  10. So SDCC is over. I walked away with about 9 of those minifigure torsos, the time reservation system they had was a nightmare on the exhibit floor. It was a webpage that barely loaded and errored out constantly due to high traffic. Lego also gave out pins, 3 pins total. Thursday was Star Wars speeder, Friday was Sonic and Saturday was Captain America. There was also a harder to get Brickbuster logo pin, but it was only available if you brought in your old blockbuster membership card to show them. And last but not least, they hid old blockbuster style movie rental cases all around downtown (in bushes, near restaurants, etc.) If you found one you got a huge prize pack - all four pins, a Lego masters build, a Lego masters keychain, and you got to keep the blockbuster case. I didn’t find any of those, but it was kinda fun to search. I could see Lego moving forward with pins in the future over exclusive blister pack minifigures. Easier to produce and easier to give out to the masses, and Lego fans were still insane about getting these. Multiple mob crowds [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. No idea where else to share this from reddit. I've tried and it works great so far. I'd been using Google Lens for this with a lot of success recently, but this is way better and more focused.
