  3. So raise prices 20-30% than decrease them 5-10%? The 3 examples he gives are from sets not released yet and the Batcave may have been an error in the press kit not an actual price decrease. Lego pricing structure just seems off in general when you have a new set and charge $109 for it just make it $100 or $120. ETA: Currently the only set above $100 not available is 21325. Ninjago City Markets seems like a bargain at $369 in today’s pricing structure but then we have this $25 wasn’t enough for 66 pieces they had to go with $26.99.

  4. When I click on Account info I get another internal error. I'm afraid to touch anything in fear of a nuclear explosion. Probably just need to go to bed and pretend this never happened.

  5. Well then I guess it must be the same for my account and I too just got verified. In fact it was just this morning early that I got the email I was verified. Time to leave Amazon alone for tonight. Tomorrow will be a better day… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. You're absolutely right about "all over the place". As if they have control though. The market will correct itself. It's not like they're the Fed that can raise the debt limit. They got too carried away with the Covid demand and the new Covid Flippers that came out of it. I have a feeling the CF's got burnt out and aren't buying like they used to. I've always been a big box set dude, but it's even too much for me with all these $400+ sets. Now if all those sets were $299.99 with a smaller piece count, I'd literally be swimming in LEGO now...

  8. Account health was set up to help offset defects IE someone saying your item is fake, So the more you sell the higher the score, in theory you won't get kicked off with 1 complaint so with a score of 200 your at base safe range, 1 A-Z or negative feedback and you will be at risk. We are at 1000 and most of the time have a active complaint of a lego being fake (Of course they are not), So with the score at 1k nothing ever happens

  9. Great article (you will have to translate the article within Chrome). Talks about how LEGO is now doing an about-face on the price increase in Europe. We all knew this was going to happen. Still not seeing the BIG SALES like in 2018-19 on Amazon, Walmart online, etc. Hoping this will change soon and they'll bring back the $299.99 big set price point. Not everyone knows about the cash-back extensions -- I know that was a sly way of hiding the discounts. I love supply vs demand, the market will always correct itself (eventually)! https://www.promobricks.de/lego-preissenkungen-mai-2023/162896/

  11. Snippet taken from a post in the seller forums on amazon "Hi Folks, We reached out to Seller Support, and were given the following response: "Please know that Service Owners confirmed that sellers based in the US (US business location) are not required to complete the INFORM Act Tax Questionnaire. They have identified a technical issue on their end which has resulted in the link being displayed to these sellers and they are working to remove it. For which we thank you for ignoring the message that is coming to you."

  12. That one has already come down in price -- a lot. At one point I was offloading those for $325 a pop. Got busy and forgot about them and now they are at $267. Still, that had to be the best promo ever produced. I flipped every 76139 at cost right away and just built up a collection of the GWP. Great were the times of no limits.

  13. Sorry, but as soon as I heard “Patreon Members” in the first 10 seconds I bailed.

  14. Account Health still shows warning box for Inform Consumer Act but the Account Info page looks normal now. I saw the info page last night where the drop down list for Country showed every other countries EXCEPT USA. I should have taken a snapshot. Imagine all of the conspiracy theories based on Amazon not recognizing US as a country

  16. I think the set most affected by this will be 76119 Batmobile Pursuit of The Joker. Same size and similar minifigs. Why pay $70 for that when you can get the new one for $40-50? As for 40433, I would still sell it because it won't double again anytime soon. So rather cash out and reinvest.

  17. At least lego included the bat mobile with the set and did not make you purchase it separately like they did with 76181 and 3. Very similar build to the included version.

  20. Welcome to amateur programming hour hosted by Amazon, paid for by FBM & FBA sellers Seriously, this is the 1st thing you teach new hires: "DO NOT push untested codes up to Production environment"

  22. Shameless self-promotion, but I self-released a song this weekend that includes a drum beat I sampled out of spare LEGO bricks on my desk (large excess of 75202 Defense of Crait sets I was parting out for MOC builds).
