  1. They can definitely be found on Whatnot streams. I'm also not a collector of them due to their origins, but if you're looking for them, SW Lego streams are a good way to find them.

  2. Thanks for the help. I understand the etymology of the pieces, but the nefarious nature of such doesn't take away from the appeal. I will do some digging and see if I can find some 'Legitimately Illegitimate' figures, HA!

  3. They are "authentic" in the terms that they are produced on Lego molds, but they are not recognized by Lego as authentic figures. They can't be sold on Bricklink as they recognize them as inauthentic. Employees are making them, stealing them, then charging exorbitant fees on eBay for them. A great side hustle. If you want a bootleg translucent figure you can buy them on aliexpress for like a dollar.

  4. If we are talking about the same thing, official Lego elements that were never in any sets, from what I heard these were produced "after hours" at the Mexico Lego factory and since has been shutdown. Never purchased any so can't help you out there. Perhaps @boliramirez has more details, although it looks like he has not been active here for a few years.

  5. I like the Bowser setup with the NES! Needs Ideas set 121990 - "Dad's Old Recliner" for Bowser to sit in.

  6. I've been pretty busy building quite a few sets since we've finally settled into the new place. Making up for the last few years of collecting sets but not wanting to build until we moved. Some are also sets my kids recently built as well as some of theirs from before the move. My son made me a really cool micro Mario for the SNES hidden level Easter egg.

  7. My first thought is why did they waste so many pieces on the enclosure design? This definitely isn't the biggest bang for the buck as far as play-ability goes.
