I think this is great. I like that it looks fairly understated on display but people will be curious enough to want to see more and then you can open it all up. I didn't do the batwing but I will do this one.2 points

This shadow box thing is just trying to be too cute, and it backfires. Give me a $400 Batcave that's just the cave (no cutesy bat-shaped shadow box), and I might be in. Better yet, give me a $400 Arkham Asylum!2 points

I want to like it.... but I don't. If price was enticing it may be different but at $400, not a chance.2 points

Looks like it's available on Amazon, hence it should be good for the 20% Rakuten cashback. With the 5% lego VIP, a 2% credit card rewards, it ends up being a 27% discount, which is a decent deal (IMO) for anyone else looking for this SW Cantina set or any other large non exclusive set on SAH. Note that the 20% (for non exclusives) Rakuten expires tonight. I got the Haunted House a few days back and the 20% cashback already hit my account. I already have the 2 GWPs that added to the order, if anyone is in the DFW area and interested in them, I'd be good to let them go for whatever is a reasonable price to help offset more of my cost. Just message me. Thx!2 points

Lego met with the 2 guys that designed a similar huge Batcave MOC when making this design. I remember watching the video last year. Need to see this set in person before deciding.1 point

It does not appear to be listed under the Exclusive category on LEGO SAH at this time, so I would assume it’s eligible for the 20% cash back.1 point

People willing to wait for the sets to appreciate could pay more but most people wiling to spend that much at once would want a quicker return. Of course you could always setup shop in your garage, open the doors and have your own Lego store 😀1 point

Hey thanks for asking. I think I am doing a little better and we are doin better as well. Also it's been a huge positive that I am still working out. I mean I still have a long road ahead..for mothers day dinner I tried on a dress shirt I haven't worn in ages (not even fitted)...and lets say I opted for the open unbuttoned over a black T-shirt look. Going back to our post I think in modern days the science that the frontal lobe of the brain is not fully developed until age 24-25 is greatly under-valued in guiding relationships. It should just be outlawed to get into any bonding ceremony or even a mortgage with another person until the age of 26. We, as a population, are simply not "complete" people capable of making a life-ling decision and commitment until that biological age. I mean I remember what a stark difference turning 25 was for me in terms of my overall maturity and ability to critically and objectively think about myself, my family, my friends, and even coworkers, etc. I feel like a lot of the "filters" placed on us growing up essentially gets lifted by that age. That said I think your assertions of what a couple should be before they get married is very western. It goes against centuries of "successful" arranged marriages where parents and match makers were the main decision-makers.1 point
