  4. Ok, this is just getting crazier. Where is the ceiling on this one? I was just updating and adding listings this morning. Last input I had for these I was flipping when it was active for $96.

  5. My home insurance company also has a Business Liability offering. I was able to get it down to about $350.

  6. Whoa. As an architect, I find this to be A-wesome.

  7. Look into Next insurance. I switched to them when Amz required insurance and I'm paying $700 per year ish. Not great if you only need it for Amz, but I'm required to have biz insurance for 3 places, so.... could be worse. Or keep your sales below the insurance threshhold. Close up shop when you get close.

  8. Price alerts in you manage inventory page but I have only seen it when I price a lot higher than the buy box. I wonder if your shipping is high compared to the listing.

  9. This. Anytime you purchase insurance there is tracking/notifications of such coverage between the insurance company and covered companies involved. i.e. That's why you will get notices from your bank if you are late paying your insurance. They know whether its active/expired or not.

  10. Chalk it up to the cost of doing business on amazon. I'm in the same boat... I've only had 1 month above 10k (Dec 2021). From the approval email they confirm coverage with the issuing company and "If the policy is canceled, altered or does not provide the coverage identified in the certificate of insurance (COI) you submitted, we will reach out to you to submit proof of a new commercial liability insurance policy." Cancelling after 1-6 months risks losing your amazon account. p.s. I received a 'request'/reminder to purchase again this year, even though I've been below the 10k threshold for 12 months.

  11. Thanks for the info. I only said that because of this in the email: I guess I will just put it down as the cost of doing business on amazon and look at the amazon options. As I do not want to be booted off the platform.

  12. The requirement has nothing to do with your sales, you are obligated to purchase one per your contract with amazon but am increase in sale will trigger a “reminder” . it is relatively cheaper and Amazon offer various option to choose from . As far as the rest goes, you are playing with fire

  13. I had a pretty good December and got the required to provide proof of commercial liability insurance. I'm a small fish and clearly this is the first time I hit $10,000 in gross sales in a month since 2021. Is this something I should just have for my protection and is the cost of doing business on Amazon or what are my options? Can I just purchase for one/six months and submit to Amazon and then cancel after approval? Thanks in advance

  15. This might be my favorite return reason Melinda, it's hard to get it there in time for Christmas when you place the order Christmas morning. Thankfully the other person she ordered it from on Christmas morning was able to send it via DeLorean. On the bright side it was successfully delivered December 29th.

  16. That is the absolute worst retirement list I've seen in a long time. I'm surprised he didn't have The Eiffel Tower and AT-TE retiring this year. I don't know where he's getting his information, but he's an absolute fool. Santa's Visit 10293 - wrong Typewriter 21327 - wrong Ghostbusters™ ECTO-1 10274 - wrong World Map 31203 - wrong Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium 10299 - wrong Ford Mustang 10265 - wrong Snowtrooper Battle Pack 75320 - wrong Razor Crest Microfighter 75321 Imperial Star Destroyer 75252 1989 Batwing 76161 Medieval Blacksmith 21325 - wrong Friends The Apartments 10292 Jim Lee Batman Collection 31205 Elvis Presley The King 31204 Apollo Lunar Lander 10266 - wrong Taj Mahal 21056 - wrong The Disney Castle 71040 Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets 76389 - wrong Hogwarts Astronomy Tower 75969 - wrong Ford GT Heritage Edition and Bronco R 76905 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R Race Car and 1969 Chevrolet Corvette 76903

  17. I have a feeling this might be a 2023 list. Blacksmith would be due by then, same for Santa's Visit and the Ford SC. I'm almost certain the Astronomy Tower will be going next year: it's a year behind the Clock Tower. I'd be surprised if the Chamber of Secrets went next year, but that's the only one on that list for which 2023 doesn't make sense.

  18. Great question. This has never made any sense to me and I've argued it on multiple occasions with Seller Support and the [email protected] team, but have never gotten anywhere close to an actual answer. My best guess is that it all comes down to how they've designed the algorithm that looks for high/low pricing errors. For reasons that have never made any sense, they appear to have indexed the algorithm to criteria that are individualized to a significant degree to a given seller rather than all sellers across the listing. It makes no sense and is frustrating as hell, but there's really not much that can be done about it. It's basically another "Thank you sir, may I have another?" situation with Amazon.

  19. It does bear mentioning that whatever happened in the last two years is not necessarily indicative of what is going to or is likely to happen going forward. LEGO's supply chain was all kinds of screwed up from March 2020 through the end of December 2021 for obvious reasons. Things have been back on track this year so it remains to be seen whether we'll see the same pattern of late changes in retirement dates and massive Amazon restocks like we saw last year.

  20. I will ad this to those who think secrets are outed by Youtube. I will agree that any and all competition hurts and affects the market but I think the masses in Lego now has more to do with Covid happening, the economy, people looking for alternate ways of making income and Amazon opening their gates. You can tell people exactly how to do something to be successful and 99% will still not do it. They may be initially motivated but that enthusiasm will die off. Most will simply not put the effort into fully ingesting the information to be able to properly apply it. There are countless speakers out there who are asked the same question of why they would share what they know. Their answer is they enjoy what they are sharing and most people will make no use of the information anyway. If the case were otherwise we would not have the number of paycheck to paycheck people that we do. With the internet there is information out there for anyone in any field that will show them the way. Most still do nothing or make only temporary improvements.
