  1. He is great in it. The first 20 minutes I wasn’t sure what kind of movie it was going to be, then it’s pretty great the rest of the way.

  3. Still available and a bunch of the new sets like the LOTR BHZ, SC Nissan and the Bird House that were OOS are now orderable or on BO and the CNY sets came out today. I grabbed another but there doesn’t seem to be any shortage of these in store or online they probably made a ton plus the buy in doesn’t help. Ebay and BL have had them for $50 or below.

  4. Bad Batch from this morning in warehouse. Fluffy is "waiting for new stock". So restock was at least partially for real.

  5. Placed a few orders with SAH this morning. They were showing a bunch of the out of stock retiring sets back in stock. Bad Batch, Yoda, Spider Man mechs, Fish BHz. Best case some of them fulfill, worst case I get a bunch of Blacktrons for small buy ins!

  12. I can't find anything I want, so which one of you scumbags want to sell it direct to me for $55 shipped? I'll pay via Zelle and have references on BP. DM...

  13. As usual a collector who funds his hobby with some sales and brags about it on YouTube. Bravo. I would really pay a (small) fee to see the operation of @ravenb99or @redcellor @landphieran - to see if I am on the right track or just watch some lego warehousepron and see what I can improve.

  14. I think you should write a book, @LegoSteve. There's a gift in your describing what some might find otherwise uneventful. I will buy a copy, but I want it signed.

  15. At 7 a.m. I had a zoom call with a new reseller from the Netherlands. It was a good call and I'm certain he'll be successful in the near future. I then decided to go to Starbucks and order a grande black light roast coffee. Most people don't know that the light roast coffees have the most caffeine. Darker roasts burn off a lot of moisture and caffeine the longer it's in the roaster. I then walked to a nearby cemetery and headed to a headstone that I frequent. I drank my coffee and read a book by Henry Rollins, Eye Scream. I'm a bit surprised that Rollins hasn't maintained the same presence in pop culture that he had 15 years ago. After an hour or so I started to hear children giggling near me but I saw no children. Even though I didn't sense any bad feelings I figured it was time to go.

  16. I want to be clear before I make my comment to let people know I am treading lightly before I say my peace. I've observed this season that there are folks on here that need extra reassurance that a set is retiring before they purchase it. It's as if their entire business will go under if the set they bought isn't retiring. I get it, I really do. You want to make sure that the sets you are putting on the shelf are gone as quick as possible. This is a bigger priority for the newer resellers than the veterans. My question is, if you're so unsure about a specific set, why not just wait a little longer to buy? "Well LegoSteve that's because that hard to find set will probably be unavailable to purchase in a few months if it actually is retiring." Ok then, if that set will goes poof then why not just buy another set, which is probably discounted unlike that hard to find set, that is also retiring and will probably have a quicker and higher ROI in the next 12-18 month? Right now I've got somewhere around 75 Hogwarts Express. Yeah I expected them to retire this year but the probably wont. Instead of lamenting over that I know things will be more than ok because I'll buy at least double that with my Q4 profits this year. Again, I know it's a little different for brand new investors because you need to turn that over quick but you shouldn't let these questions live in your head and take away any enjoyment your having as a reseller. Things will work out in the end. One last thing for the new resellers, why are you buying the sets that you are buying? Is it because others have told you what sets you should be buying or is it because you did your due diligence and decided on specific sets? I ask because there are sets I see new resellers buy that I wouldn't touch if this was my first year buying.
