I saw somewhere that project lemon has been "confirmed" (whatever that means in the world of internet rumors) as being a Sonic the Hedgehog theme. Which would be a bummer.1 point

Love how the security went all tough on an obviously PAYING customer. Perhaps compensating for the time they were useless against the grab and dash types.1 point

this is FBM? i take 50% restocking fee for that kind of nonsense. take photos. literally the second i see a return authorization, i message the buyer and tell them the item must be returned in a box without any damage if they expect to get a full refund and that if they item is taken to a UPS store and returned with a label attached or in a bag they will only get 50% back. i haven't had any sets returned like this since i began doing this.1 point

The thing that killed it for me was the fact that they (or at least the one I was talking to) claim a percentage of EVERY reimbursement you receive regardless of whether it was one that they facilitated the collection of. As soon as I found that out, I told them to pound sand.1 point

I know you want it, the final picture of its wholeness. Today was the last parcel with the stickered sets. Enjoy that bad boy. After deciding to throw it away, i got a plastic garbage bag and tried to put that sticker tree inside. Pro tip for you all: it doesnt work, because they stick to the plastic- so in the end these stickers mocked me one last time just because I wanted to spread some joy for Christmas!1 point

I’ve been pretty quiet lately but I still check in 1-2 times a day. I’m surprised there hasn’t been more chatter regarding the current Meijer sale / coupon stack that was posted earlier today in the DD thread. Props to the OP. Two separate stores. Two separate coupons (my wife and mine). I picked up all this today at 54% off. Normal sale/coupon pricing would have come to 49% but my teenage son just recently got his first part time job at my local Meijer so I was somehow able to apply his employee discount as well, bringing the savings to 54%. There are some good deals to be had, that’s for sure. Thanks again, OP! Because Target is a pain in the ass. They want your business, but don't want to make it easy to work with them. Their 3rd party API people hate working with them so they don't support their tools and they offer 0% commission for sending people to their site to buy stuff from them. Walmart is a close 2nd.1 point

I have no dog in the Brickfolio fight (I never used it and don't care if it ever returns), but doesn't it seem like the next step should be you asking people if they would like this new idea that you have or to have their Brickfolio data restored? So far, there is PLENTY of evidence that people want their Brickfolio data, but zero evidence that this new secret idea is going to be of any value to anyone. Not working on something that people are clamoring for to instead work on something that nobody is asking for seems a bit backwards, no? Listen to your customer. No, they haven't paid anything, but they're still your customers. I mean, at this point, can't you just provide everyone a CSV of their data and not keep the hope alive that the Brickfolio will ever be coming back? I get it, it's a free site, and a free service that was offered. But, at the same time, they just want to access their data that you already have. According to your past posts on the topic, you've stated repeatedly that all of the data is safe. So, just make it available to everyone and move on from this project that you clearly have no interest in completing.1 point

I take it it's more of CA thing then. Been like this for years now. Used to be some exceptions but not anymore. About a week ago they were unpacking toys out in the main isle when I found a case of the Ninjago Gift Pack Sets. I opened the case right in front of them and scanned for the price. $15 so I grabbed them and went to purchase. Security came and stopped me and kinda really gave me a hard time over it. Told me I was defeating the purpose of all the Lego behind the glass. I didn't even get into it over all the Lego that is stacked on top of the glass, the Lego in their special holiday toy section, and the clearance section.0 points

I hadn't heard it mentioned here before, and I hadn't been in B&N for a long time, but I see they have transitioned to only putting empty boxes on the shelves. It's definitely getting harder to arm sweep. Crime is just getting worse. There are less cops, ones that are there are tentative to act or prevent, criminals are getting very little time, let out early. In California if thieves stay under $950 there is no punishment. My dad's business was just broken into on Christmas Day. Nothing really of value there to steal, just some of the nearby "homeless" looking for anything to grab. Damage is always worse than anything they take. Makes the holidays a joyous time of the year.0 points
