There's obviously some exceptions, but most of the Costco's in my area cleaned all their Lego & Christmas stuff off the floors over the weekend. Christmas trees completely gone -- not one store. Was really counting on cleaning up this week 😒 I was really disappointed on missing out on the 19.97 deals at the Burbank store so I couldn't leave empty handed. Told myself I was going to pass on these but the more I saw them I couldn't resist at $7.50 a pop.6 points

Blanket & VIP gift with BHZ already shipped, Batwing on BO. I gave one of these blankets as a gift, along with a few other things, and the reaction was less than stellar.2 points

Same, thanks to @mlc3423I did online chat, didn’t think it would work since it was now Sold Out. Because I used PayPal they couldn’t give me a refund so offered GC or VIP points. I took the 5200 in points for the one I ordered.1 point

Just chatted with Lego CS, 5 minutes later I have $80 in Lego Gift Cards coming to me. Worth a shot if anyone ordered Batwings too early like me.1 point

The local Louisville Lego Store had them....3 in stock The price was $199.99...As far as it going on sale in the store today i'm not sure....And whether or not they would let you buy all 3 or limit u to 1 who knows either....As you all know every lego store is different.....As always YMMV Or show up in some wholesale/closeout store in TN1 point

"When it comes to anything you're buying to resell it's not worth it no matter whether it's lego or any other collectible....Happens to everyone....Whether it's lego or anything else (I sell other items beside lego like a lot of you) you're going to buy something which you think was a great deal and then a week later you find it cheaper......Just suck it up and move on"1 point

i just won a claim on ups for not delivering a item When i went to my account to file the claim there was a option of checking If you shipped this package through an eCommerce site i checked that and it worked even though it bought the label on ebay1 point

Ebay should have your back per Seller Protection policy should buyer open a case1 point

One other thing on that zip / city match I forgot to mention on UPS is make sure it says the city on UPS website tracking page. The ebay site tracking will always pull up the zip and city / state on there end that was provided on the label but the UPS site will show city and that can vary if it was misdelivered. There have been instances I lost a case cause I was lazy and checked ebay side but the UPS site had a different city as the delivery location. They have to match what the address says on ebay.1 point

you can open a claim with ups, you have to open as a third party claim though, it will reject if you put it in your name. So where it asks if you are the shipper you technically put no. Then can fill out the rest. Can use your email though. Ebay has a form that they can give you too but I just went through UPS direct. They do a driver follow up as it all has GPS coordinates and most the time driver will usually remember on big stuff like that recently. Plus they'll be able to tell pretty quick off the GPS scan. The particular one I had was a guy that had bought about 20 purchases in a month all about 1k and up. He didn't open case did same thing said hey I didn't get it even though it says I did. He was in a business complex and when he received all his packages for the day just happened to sign it not realizing one wasn't there. It actually didn't go to him and UPS did award the claim. It took like 6 months to get the check though. I just refunded ahead on that one cause I didn't want to piss the guy off as he had bought so much with no issues. I had contacted ebay about it as well and they stated to use their claim form and explained the 3rd party. That explained why it kept rejecting my worldship account when I made the claim. There are rare instances where the check gets sent to ebay then ebay credits your account as again they are technically the shipper. Mine didn't end that way though. The check came to me. If you get ahead of it and he's being truthful most likely the guy won't even open the case. If you have a scan with matching zip though wouldn't be to worried about it.1 point

meh actually they didn't as I found the same issues in 36TX2's. Only difference was 36TX2's had the only heavy ones. All the 34's were either good or light. Where as 36 had a combination of all 3 (good, light, and heavy) So bottom line if you have 805-820 you are good, 805 is the most common. Anything under 800 is missing a bag/bags. Some were missing 1 some were missing 2. Most common missing is the candles bag and the bag with the round green circles and gold piece. The ones over 900 have 2-3 extra bags and unfortunately aren't even the candle bags most the time. Good news is only 3 out of 50 or so were light so only 6%. No one would complain about the overages so small percentage but enough volume could add up. 37TX2 supposedly out now too but don't have any of those.1 point

I built one, and yeah, the unnumbered bags were a pain. Mine wasn't missing anything though. Guess I got lucky. so we checked an 805 and it was all good, all pieces accounted for. Was 10 sealed bags. Then opened a 935 and had 3 extra bags. Assume the 900 ones are 2 extra bags. They weren't different bags and were just duplicates of the original bags. Removing the 3 bags and putting all contents back in it weighed the 820 so assume the 805 and 820 are good. Guess I'll check one of the 780. The bags weigh from like 25 to 90 grams so that could be one. Problem is the 2 reported missing parts are in different bags altogether. Most the problems reported have been in the 34TX2 which are actually the newer ones in store. The 36TX2 I've had the longest and had the 3 that were 2-3 bags over. Obviously by that there is a lot of packaging errors on these I guess.1 point

Christmas Tree sets are jacked up pretty bad. Lot of returns coming in for missing pieces and seem to be random / different. Guess not numbered bags either. Never opened one yet. Did weigh mine and range from 780-935 grams. Probably 75% of them are 805, then about 10% 780 , 10% 820 and 5% 900+ grams1 point

OMG thought it was just me. Woke up to check orders. 0 but 5 returns! Fortunately low value items besides for a stormtrooper helmet0 points

me too, exactly 5. One of them Amazon immediately refunded the total amount. I received it sliced open, contents were emptied, stuffed back in, and taped shut. Will be my first safe-t claim. This is the first year I've done volume FBM.0 points
