Man, a Jazz club right next to a police station... that's gotta be the least happening place in town.3 points

Man all those together look strange. They have really fallen off the last few years. The PR DO BB run starting to look like a golden age.3 points

Color me shocked it wasn't already retired. When another parent told me this is what their gift was at a birthday party a couples months back, I was like, huh, I thought I bought all those a year and a half ago (I had).2 points

I have a few dozen I stashed from a Walmart during last year's clearance. Blown out at $5 each.2 points

My Walmart doesn't normally have large sets such as Modulars but noticed a few months ago a sticker for the Boutique Hotel Today I picked up the Boutique Hotel for $170 and passed on Back to the Future for $170 and The Office for $100. Glad to see some of these larger sets in my area. Creator pirate ship shelf sticker was either $80 or $75 but out of stock. Noticed some of the same clearance prices that others have shared recently. Thanks everyone for sharing!2 points

The thing which interests me the most, if the banner sets look good next to the book sets. Anyone knows how they look from the sides and If they are intended to be displayed next to the books?1 point

I knew it was a good idea to pass on those for $8 each during Walmart summer of 21 clearance haha1 point

The story was that no set with price increase is going. I don't think there is a single data point going against that. If there is a surprise, I would have bet on Pooh. It didn't go up in price and was on some early 2022 lists. At this point, I'm pretty sure it will stay. However, I've heard that in Germany retailers can't order Ninjago City Gardens anymore. That set was also on early lists, then was removed and got a price increase. If it were to go, that would be a shock.1 point

Maybe dead? "This promo has already been used" I tried with a private window in case it was tying it to Rakuten or some other cached attribute, but same message on two different accounts (one with Walmart+, one without).1 point

Yep, I applied it. Then backed out deciding to use it on something different and it says that I already used it even though I didn't complete the purchase. Lol, DON'T APPLY IT UNTIL READY TO USE!1 point

Review: Just Terrible The only good thing about this set is that you can use the pieces to build something else. I bought 1 with 10% Honey, Ugh!1 point

I built one, and yeah, the unnumbered bags were a pain. Mine wasn't missing anything though. Guess I got lucky. so we checked an 805 and it was all good, all pieces accounted for. Was 10 sealed bags. Then opened a 935 and had 3 extra bags. Assume the 900 ones are 2 extra bags. They weren't different bags and were just duplicates of the original bags. Removing the 3 bags and putting all contents back in it weighed the 820 so assume the 805 and 820 are good. Guess I'll check one of the 780. The bags weigh from like 25 to 90 grams so that could be one. Problem is the 2 reported missing parts are in different bags altogether. Most the problems reported have been in the 34TX2 which are actually the newer ones in store. The 36TX2 I've had the longest and had the 3 that were 2-3 bags over. Obviously by that there is a lot of packaging errors on these I guess.1 point

First one looks like amateur hour. Ebay one a little better but not much. They would have been better off wide releasing the bricklink Lego store modular.1 point

I know you want it, the final picture of its wholeness. Today was the last parcel with the stickered sets. Enjoy that bad boy. After deciding to throw it away, i got a plastic garbage bag and tried to put that sticker tree inside. Pro tip for you all: it doesnt work, because they stick to the plastic- so in the end these stickers mocked me one last time just because I wanted to spread some joy for Christmas!1 point

Sure there's some nitpicking I might do the more I look at them. Frodo's feet probably should have used 1x4 plates since Hobbits have big feet. Gollum just looks like a child in dirty diapers. And the Balrog horns...uhhhh. But yeah, these are nice.1 point

Christmas Tree sets are jacked up pretty bad. Lot of returns coming in for missing pieces and seem to be random / different. Guess not numbered bags either. Never opened one yet. Did weigh mine and range from 780-935 grams. Probably 75% of them are 805, then about 10% 780 , 10% 820 and 5% 900+ grams0 points
