After cashing on Kohls cash for more discounted sets, average cost for the lot came out to 57.84% of retail (plus the rewards that hit on the 1st.)......Definitely not prime choice selection but between the Corvette, set with three Disney Princesses, and some 40% off HP and SW, will still do pretty well.
Great show, has made me go back to watch Rogue One and try and collect those Minifigures.
Surprised that the Rogue one sets haven't really appreciated much even though retired in 2018. Scariff / shoretroppers and K2S0 minifigs going for good money
I think people who slept on this show because they were let down by BoBF or Kenobi really missed out. Great writing and pacing. I had to read the transcript of Forrest Whittaker’s short cameo as Saw Guerra because I didn’t pick up on all the nuances but it was well worth the read. We’ve never really gotten a clear picture of how the Rebel alliance formed and it’s refreshing to get some nuance and see how messy things were. Any ideas about the equation Luthen Rael alluded to at the end of the last episode? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am not sure if this is where it should go but I thought I would make everyone aware.
Today, I was scheduled for a local pickup selling a Titanic set. It was through FBM and nothing really seemed out of the ordinary until she asked me if I could make an exception and take Venmo because she hadn't had time to get to the bank. It was the middle of a Tuesday and there are literally fifteen banks near my house so I told her it was cash only. All of a sudden her friend was calling on the other line to tell her that she found it fifty bucks cheaper someplace else (impeccable timing) and that she wouldn't be buying the set after all. I bent over backwards to make that sale convenient for her and then nothing.
Do not accept Venmo for anything really. They will come get the set, Venmo you the money, twenty minutes later report the card stolen, the charges will be reversed and you will never see the merchandise again.
This is my PSA.
