"One way out." Each time I think "This episode is the best Star Wars I've seen," it always keeps escalating somehow. This show is a GOOD show without magic space wizards or laser swords! I am very much surprised and on the edge of my seat often with the acting, the set pieces, and the storytelling. The writing is so much more in depth and complex for something I would've never expected from Disney Star Wars. Also casting Stellan Skarsgård is PHENOMENAL! Chef's kiss!4 points

There hasn't been many sets that I just couldn't wait to build. This one got the best of me and I spent the money and worked on it with my son. He's still a bit young so he lost interest part way in until it was finished. The set is fantastic, the build is awesome, the final model is outstanding. Can't sing enough praises for this set. The kids enjoyed playing with it for a bit, moving the head and shooting the fireball at each other.4 points

I will have to disagree with you there. As crazy as litigation in court can be, I've never seen the level of idiocy in a courtroom that I've experienced trying to get a reimbursement out of Amazon. It would be like walking into court for a trial and the judge asking "Ok, have you filed a complaint?" "Yes, your honor, here is a copy of the complaint that we filed two years ago." "Ok, I can't help you until you file a complaint." "Your honor, here is our complaint that was filed TWO YEARS AGO." "Ok, I will be able to help you once you file a complaint." Etc. Etc.3 points

Since it is a virus, it does not respond to antibiotics, sometimes antibiotics are given if the person is out of power to prevent a further bacterial infection.3 points

We see how the Empire actually affects normal people's lives and how insidious it can be. It's not so much as incompetent stormtroopers or tons of disposable TIE fighters, but a vast, bureaucratic and dehumanizing MACHINE that consumes people. What I also love about this show is the great sense of scale it gives you. Every location feels...REAL.2 points

Its been a while since I hit rewind on a scene and re-watched it a dozen times. This scene was one of them. Also, the story telling, framing and mystery behind the jail predicament on Narkina 5 has been diabolical. Simple, yet tantalizing.2 points

Used my Kohl's cash on myself (as it's the best use). It's funny to me that Kohl's ships in bags from stores but from the warehouse their boxes and packaging are typically better than Lego itself. This Boutique Hotel arrived in perfect condition despite the lack of any dunnage at all. Although it is a weird pandemic style Euro-->US stickered box.2 points

I think people who slept on this show because they were let down by BoBF or Kenobi really missed out. Great writing and pacing. I had to read the transcript of Forrest Whittaker’s short cameo as Saw Guerra because I didn’t pick up on all the nuances but it was well worth the read. We’ve never really gotten a clear picture of how the Rebel alliance formed and it’s refreshing to get some nuance and see how messy things were. Any ideas about the equation Luthen Rael alluded to at the end of the last episode? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

There are still UPS coupon codes out there to sign up for the free smart pickup. Mine expired last year and they tried to charge me weekly and I found another one with some google searches. I've had free smart pickup basically since 2014.1 point

And here I thought this was already the case. Nope, you get even less reimbursement going forward. The joy of F'd By Amazon1 point

Andor is how Star Wars should be done. Dark, gritty and unforgiving. I might have enjoyed this more than The Mandalorian, in different ways though.1 point

It's a common respiratory virus that usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms. Most people recover in a week. Affects children the most causing bronchiolitis (irritation of the bronchioles in the lungs). Causes common cold like symptoms in adults, pneumonia like illness in the elderly. RSV has been around a long time and it's unfortunately a RNA virus (single stranded one unlike COVID) Responds to the most simplest antibiotic (Amoxicillin) which is kind of scarce now.1 point

I worked my favorite 5-9 shift as a poll worker. My county recently upgraded the voter checkin process to use 'PollPads' which uses an iPad and reciept printer and everything went smoothly. Here you can vote using a touchscreen or a paper ballot and if there is no line for them, I prefer people to use the touchscreens because they print out a marked ballot for you when you're done and then you put that into the ballot scanner - still a paper ballot, but you haven't overvoted or undervoted without the screen telling you ahead of time. I do love when folks are like, gimmme that paper, I don't trust machines - like yo, you're gonna put this IN a machine. Or I want a paper traiL! That thing just prints a filled ballot for you! (I actually used a paper ballot because the line for the touchscreens was long at my precinct, but I know what I'm doing and don't spoil the ballot) Had about a 20% rate of spoiled paper ballots that had to be revoted. Anyways, rant over.1 point

I remember this from last Thanksgiving. Having the wife prepare for 20 guests, while I was out hitting 3 or 4 Big Lots. Bought like 100 sub $10-$15 sets for $5-$7.50.1 point
