Spent $1350 of Kohls cash when it activated today, all on the 30% Lego. I add the retail value of initial purchase + the KC purchase, and divide by my initial cost (plus minimal shipping on the KC orders) to get my total % off that I apply for my cost on each set. Ended up with a final cost of 57% of retail value. Call that a huge DEAL win

The AT-AT was shipped in the nice factory shipper inside a box with padding.

The way I use KC is pretty straightforward. I see the total amount in my cart, then apply KC. Whatever I end up paying after KC will be my base cost for the sets in the order. If this is not good enough discount for me, then I am not buying. Whatever KC earned from this order will be applied to next order. Rinse & repeat. Admittedly this is NOT the best way to get 100s of items. But I am not a big fish in the pond 🐠

This is really cool. The only thing that would make this better is a huge line with those little microfigures.

Picked up my new 2023 Mazda CX-5 yesterday after 2 weeks of waiting. First time seeing an odometer with single digit miles on it

Built one of the new Mario series figures last night. They've scaled them up slightly and I think it results in a better finished product. Might pick up a couple more.

Ice Rink - done. First day for me.

I've been sick for like 12 days. Started with a little sore throat that I caught from my wife and daughter, had us all test so THEY could go back to work/school and boom, Covid. I thought I'd made it through the worst of it when I had full on body aches LAST tuesday, but had a mighty resurgence on Sunday/Monday with a new sore throat. Worst part is I had JUST gotten my Covid booster and flu shot three weeks ago. I'm convinced I've got FluVid-22, a new mutant virus just for me, developed in a lab in Hawkins, Indiana (I may be hallucinating things).

Took a sick day today since wife is at work today. 15 month old daughter was diagnosed with RSV Monday evening. She had started coughing since Friday. The virus is pretty nasty piece of work. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk
