My running theory with these type of sets is that Lego's kryptonite are sets that expand and change what people thought was traditionally possible with Lego pieces. Typewriter and piano are examples of this. So Foosball was something Lego simply couldnt resist - wow! You can even make a working Foosball table out of Lego!!! What a versatile system! Except, turns out that you can't really. But Lego stubbornly kept with the concept and shrunk it down to a workable mini version which looks about as much fun to play with as flying internationally economy class. It just doesnt work at this scale. Maybe a cute 2 minute demo style toy to show off. But to actually play? Please. For $250?? This is NOT the way....3 points

We converted the garage to a gym during Covid although it took forever for all the equipment to come in. It was already built-out (drywalled/recessed lights) so just needed matts. Went to Tractor Trailer and bought horse matts. Tape the seams with black gorilla tape and it works great without the big cost of "gym" matts. All "Rogued Out" now! Not sure I could jump rope either since I'm 6'3" 🙃 Please excuse the mess as I'm building out a new network cabinet . . .2 points

This should never have made it out of the review phase. The ideas line feels congested and diluted.2 points

Everyone knows the best part of foosball is all of the extra players / figures sitting outside of the table. YAY !!!!! Dang it I am becoming JANG, but for that price I can buy actual foosball table. OR spend $50 for a mini tabletop foosball game https://www.amazon.com/WIN-MAX-Foosball-20-Inch-Football-Soccer/dp/B0882KNMPQ2 points

Attachment? You mean the cage attachment? I forget why, but I bought the stand alone lat pulldown (with seated row). Some of the equipment was too tall -- hence no cable crossovers. I wanted to order the power bands but couldn't find the product page when I looked last. They have new equipment out since I made my initial purchases that I wish I had room for. If I were starting now I would probably get the Monster Cave and Cable Crossover's (if my ceiling was high enough). I would never have bought the leg press if I had realized I couldn't do calves on it -- plus I'm more into squats and dead lifts now. That's actually my biggest regret. It was expensive, takes up a ton of room and I only use it to warm up on now. Imo, it was just not well designed. The weights hit against the machine as you raise and lower it and the plate pegs make no sense at all. Once you load the 45's on a set of storage pins there is only room for dimes on the other pegs?!?! Not sure how I feel about the Donkey yet. I need to take the time to really learn the machine. Thinking of getting landmines next with the platform. All rock solid equipment!1 point

Yeah, the height on them is perfect for that size of LEGO box to fit well. I've kept a few of them for that purpose.1 point

Agree with that sentiment, I would also throw 21305 in there as well.1 point

Remove this spare figures and pointless side build and knock £100 off its price... And I still wouldn't like it. Agree it looks like a GWP set 😬1 point

First discount I've seen on this one...https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Lunar-New-Year-Ice-Festival-80109-Building-Kit-Gift-Toy-Kids-Aged-8-Up-Set-Featuring-Detailed-Winter-Scene-Chun-Sculpture-13-Minifigures-More-1-/733400962?athbdg=L13001 point

forgive me for stating the obvious but you order this much you know the risk. Not saying dont go all in, but at the same time the risk involved should be taken into account1 point

Correct - I was not using Walmart+ when I got banned. Yes - placed 4 order of SW 3 pack and 3 other sets.1 point

Okay I thought that Image was the gwp - I dont see why any table soccer fan should buy it when it does not resememble the actual game. I dont know why they changed it from the submission - did anyone really expect, that you could actually play table soccer with lego bricks? I think 1 year life cycle and bad seller rank after.1 point

What a bizarre combination of compromises and decisions. Awful. https://brickset.com/article/82644/why-has-21337-table-football-been-scaled-down1 point

Unless this becomes some kind of beer drinking game I don't see it selling well in the USA.1 point

https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/table-football-21337 Holy cow. $250??? Edit: I think they went overboard on inclusivity on this one. Should have done ten bog standard figs. By including the full team of 11 on each side with tons of variations the price just got super out of hand, also the superfluous bench build to 'store' all those extra figures. I thought the Black Panther mega-bust was the biggest misstep so far this year but I think they've outdone themselves here.1 point

It ain't just California. We got quoted $18,000 for painting the inside of a 2600sf house. Ended up getting someone to do it for $3500.0 points

Can’t emphasize how much I dislike Zaavi. Damaged/water logged sets. Last order for 2x Technic Formula 1, 42141 got a Minions set instead. Shipped that back but no refund. Credit card dispute failed as well. Go for the daily deals if you dare, but I would factor in a 20% loss/PITA factor on every order.0 points

everything is coming in bags these days. My stack of returns is tall enough to be soon from my own ISS0 points
