  3. They limited me to 1 each of the Xmas sets, but allowed me to get 2 Rays, they had a ton of them.

  4. This guy Solbricks cracks me up. He’s definitely not for everyone, but he’s authentic. I love how he drops the boxes and actually shows parts of the set being broken or the whole damn thing falling off the table by accident during his reviews He highlights the unflattering, yet endearing aspects of LEGO. He gets it: LEGO is a problem, but it’s our problem because we love it so much.

  5. Wanted to wait to post until I had it in hand, but ordered this off of the Exchange(AAFES) website last Friday for $339. Been having regret I didn't get one before retirement and then this pops up. Crazy.

  7. LOL! For the record, I purposely gave the crazed thumbnail as a private joke. I have a personal rule of never having a gaping mouth or using the word 'insane' in a thumbnail or title.

  8. I looked into getting some of their cases after seeing some amazing pics on Instagram for my SC collection but not only was the price prohibitive for a $20 set but shipping time was around 3 months and by then they would be dusty. $235 shipped for the Castle and it has studs to display the minifigs. Thought about it but don't think it would fit my Forestmen GWP set I added on.

  9. Dropped to about £150 which was my cue to pull the trigger. First Marvel set I've ever bought, but it's a modular so I had to have it.

  10. This looks quite nice, however I have no experience with their quality. https://www.wickedbrick.com/en-us/products/display-case-for-lego-lion-knights-castle-10305 My plan is to display in one of my antique curio's. Currently have CITF (910001) and 21325 with a small farm/market moc. Still haven't landed on if The Lion's Castle will be centered or to one side. The storyline has almost written itself. I have CITF arranged as a black falcon fortress, complete with a king and an army standing ready for battle. There is a conflict brewing in the forest, but the Lion's Queen has the power to bring peace with an agreed upon marriage uniting the two factions! Only thing left to do is actually build the castle...

  11. Keep an eye on your local Costco. Mine has started to clearance about half of their aisle of LEGO sets. Vespa was 50% off and multiple City, Friends, and Ninjago sets were ~40% off. As always YMMV.

  12. Has anyone seen any photos with placement of the Lego Store and Venetian Houses in their modular cities? Found this one...looking for more inspiration. Still not sure if I should cut these open or quick flip...

  13. While not a buy, one of my neighbors is clearing out clutter from her house and gave this to me last night. Cannot want to go through the bin and find out how much of set 6991 is in there.
