Jangs review made me actually start to consider getting this for me and my kids. Of course if I do it'll have be timed with some good discounts and or awesome freebies [emoji1303]

I think this set is real freakin' neato. To me it feels like one of those officially released sets that grazes the border of also looking like a fan build (at least from the exterior). Inside rooms are akin to the original Haunted House set which are a little bare yet with just enough fun furnishings for play. Plenty of classic characters ever slightly modernly redesigned. Only complaint being why does Majisto the Wizard have no printing whatsoever? His compilation is spot on; however, lacking any detail. Overall, what was old is new again. And well done at that.

100% agree. Looks great but should have been 299. And from the lackluster sales, it seems fans agree. It's a shame. Would have been such a great 90th birthday present for fans. Now Lego will conclude that Knights don't sell.

The fact that it is already being discounted $30 in the EU/UK is not a good sign or just a sign that it was overpriced.

I'm still planning to pick one up over the next few months, but looking for at least double VIP and a sweet GWP to push me over the edge to make the purchase.

For the one with signature, attach a pic of said signature via Amazon's messaging system and just keep it casual. As in item was signed for and here is a copy attached. keep it at that. What you are actually doing is letting Amazon see it since you wont be able to attach a picture for AZ claim. Extra layer of security.

Saw it in person at the LEGO store and it looks great and stand out from the rest. The price however, stood out as well.

Have them submit a Did Not Receive claim and then you provide the shipping/delivery details. If you purchased shipping through Amazon, they should cover the claim and reimburse you. I always mention to the buyer the shipping should be guaranteed through Amazon.

Yes, various sets have various discounts looks like $20, $25 and $30. Redeem 100 VIP points per discount, not sure if it is limit 1 per set. They do have the $ sign so maybe soon?

Think it is the next CMF series that starts the box packaging... Think I've ordered 4 series from them at this point... Only one came still sealed in LEGO foil pack. I can understand the need to open to verify before shipping complete sets. Smooshing is just too time consuming for a business model. I do believe it is mentioned somewhere in the purchase process that packs may be open to ensure complete sets... I will be ordering future sets from Minifigures Plus as well..

Didn’t know that was an option? Maybe I missed a comma or something in there but grammar is not my specialty. So, I was at the lego store getting the smaller sets and at the same time the BL sets were delivered. Still not sure if that makes sense.
