  1. I generally just respond and tell them that they should not buy from me, which generally does the trick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. i am 100% fbm seller. i get messages like this from time to time. when that happens, i take down the listing (type quantity available zero) and respond that i sold the item and no longer have stock. wait a few days and then relist. i don't want to sell to this headache. my goal this year has been to focus on improving margin which includes lowering probablity of box and margin crushing returns. given that they are already asking about the return, red lights are flashing. i have even had buyers message asking for a photo (larger high value sets). down comes the listing - no lego for you!

  4. Usually I just get messages from box queens after the fact "someone breathed on this too hard... SNAD!" They must have messaged a bunch of people, as I'm nowhere near the bottom of the pricing tree. Good luck whoever responds affirmatively to this request. I wouldn't sell to this person even if my box was as minty as the gingerbread man's pecker

  5. Simple Google search says that YouTube pays $3-$5/1000 views. This guy is averaging 6k views per video (and that is being generous). So he is making about $30/video and putting out 1-2/week. That isn't very hard to top with just investment in Lego. Granted, I have no idea how much he makes on his OnlyFans though. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

  6. I always say the box is beat to hell. Even on ebay when the pics show a minty box. Box queens are not worth the trouble.

  7. I assembled the Justifier this week. It's a pretty nice looking ship although basically dark grey and black throughout. Young Anakin would have said "Wizards!, moving landing gear!" The landing skis rotate up to the body as you raise the engine into the "flight" mode. The movement is smooth and does not feel weak or wonky like some of the series sets with moving parts that I am never sure if something is going to break or fall apart. The ship itself is pretty big 16 inches long in flight mode by 15 inches wide and when landed, 20 inches long. Footprint wise, its about the same as as the UCS Slave 1 but less overall mass. The ship itself it pretty limited on the interior with only the pilot seat and two crates of bombs and lightsaber hilts, not even lids for them. There is a small area behind a clear red divider that could be a prison cell but I slipped the tiny display of payments (I guess that is what the green based display of stickered blocks and the gold statue is supposed to be) into it along with the extra projectiles. Omega fits right in with the Bad Batch Shuttle set well though for display purposes but this is another ship I just don't have room for and now I have to find space for a UCS Razorcrest? Fennec comes with hair and a brown suitcase if you want to display without her helmet. Nice touch.

  9. I heard it was a…“rolling around naked in piles of unwashed bulk Lego While screaming “Market Street is the best modular!!!”…” Fetish site. But I didn’t pay the fee to find out…😬I swear.

  10. First, anyone making as much as they seem to want everyone else to think they're making could afford to get that lazy eye fixed. Every time I see it my mind sees a French bulldog.... which I'd trust more for investing advice. Second, I've bought a decent amount of these but my cost average is about $30. I wouldn't buy at $50 as the build is crap. Now we have the facts that thousands are being sold, and you'll have hundreds of resellers picking these up in small quantities. More hands is worse than a few whales with a ton of these. Newbies will constantly undercut one another to squash the price. the 2022 retirement wave overall is going to look poor because of this same fact. The people liquidating because they spent money they didn't have are going to be the ones setting the floor on these sets as they race to the bottom. We need the hype train caused by the lockdown to end... so we can get back to making stronger returns on shorter hold times.

  12. I hope that’s correct for his sake because if it’s not, he’s a complete moron for broadcasting the information he puts out there. From what I’ve watched of his stuff, he is clearly aiming at building a scaled reselling operation, but doesn’t seem to realize that competition becomes a much more significant factor to your success as your scale grows. Personally, I can’t imagine that he or any of the other people trying to monetize LEGO “investing” content creation could ever make as much money creating content as they could reselling LEGO. 13. Sounds like the OnlyFans of weird influencer Lego investment. For only 1k tokens, he’ll make a private video building a GWP just for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. While not a buy, one of my neighbors is clearing out clutter from her house and gave this to me last night. Cannot want to go through the bin and find out how much of set 6991 is in there.

  16. So USA gets 40529 again and not the new 40578. Will be waiting until 10/1 now to get the lighthouse if we actually get the new Ideas Castaway set GWP.
