The Ninjago set on sale was "backorder" for a while a well. My guess is that stores are sending some sets back to the warehouse to move through SAH rather than taking away shelf space. My local store is quite small and they started putting larger sets on the counter and will get one from the back if you want one.1 point

That is a much smaller operation than I envisioned based on the way he talks. They've got great height in the space, but it looks like it couldn't be more than a few thousand square feet.1 point

Lots of clearance sludge on those shelves. I hope he got 60% off or more. I watched the video. It appears people sent them those sets to fulfill for them in Q4, ugh. Looking at abysmal margins there.1 point

Built the Forestmen GWP not from the Mexico plant and no quality control issues. My other 3 Walmart Castle Promos arrived Saturday so I guess I will breakdown and build one of them next.

I did not realize that 25% of the parts go towards the “useless and repetitive” track build. Since it can’t be motorized and doesn’t fit on lego train tracks they could have eliminated the display track and lowered the price or added another passenger car or made a more robust platform.1 point
