Been thinking about this promo a bit today. IMO, it's beyond overrated. In terms of piece count, I'm no expert but seems to be smaller than this one for comparison So maybe a total of 150-175 pieces. In terms of appeal - this is subjective - but to me, its just a generic castle. low key cute at best but really nothing special. But most of all, 12,500 seems like a ginormous number for this type of thing. If it was 1k, I'd be all over it. With 12.5k, I have a hard time believing this will even sell out by the 24th. I'd bet confidently that there will be a large surplus, in the thousands, that are not "redeemed". These may very well show up on walmart.com for 9.99 in a week or 2. Alternatively, they may keep this promo running indefinitely.

it looks like 75049. I have one in the basement someplace. Very similar to the version with the UCS/MSB Hoth set though.

Posted in the daily deals thread when I noticed the sale. Their boxes are down to 32ECT unfortunately, but only one damaged set out of everything that arrived. Granted, I believe it was damaged before shipment.

Good work mate. 👍 UCS ATAT update. Set comes in one giant box which then holds 4 slightly less giant boxes. Just finished box 1. This thing is going to be epic in size.

First toy market since Covid on the weekend. Quite small one, ($20 seller fee) only 200 - 300 patrons, but a good opportunity to get the cobwebs out (finding the square reader, updating the software linking to new device, etc) Sold 15 of the 25 BNIB sets (all sub $70) a measly 6 polybags. The big winner was Miss 14 who had since Xmas pulled out of my bulk buys and pieced together and rebuilt around 60, mostly City vehicle sets and sold 52, at between $10 - $15 each.

I hide stuff on purpose and then forget about it. That way when I find it, it’s like hidden treasure 🤤
