  5. Wouldn't worry about the sticker. Expecting boxes to be in mint/fresh/perfect/something you would buy off-the-shelf condition is probably not a good idea. You are not buying from a retailer; but rather eBay. New/Brand New does not mean the retail packaging is in great condition. When I dump stuff on Ebay I am careful to describe the condition of the boxes to avoid hassles if they are less than stellar. If I am purchasing something on eBay, and I am concerned about the condition of "retail packaging", I ask "before" purchasing. That should solve your problems. Finding a good/great deal and hoping for the best -- probably not.

  6. buyer beware...especially on a "great price" on Ebay. I recently got a new UCS Star Destroyer and the only pic was a stock one and the only description was "New" w/ the set name. I was sure to let the seller know my expectations and to NOT ship if contrary to my expectations. Seller confirmed and so we will see. The price was not great...but pretty good. I would totally return the whole batch to the seller or if you think the savings is worth the trouble; open each box and confirm the sealed bags and set it aside for future resell as broken sealed, w/ sealed inner bag boxes (these sell close to new sealed prices in most cases). regarding seals...I spoke w/ a fellow collector who was telling me; back in the day when the Wall-E set was on shelf; that a LEGO rep for Toys R Us had a sticker gun that "resealed" the new sets (LEGO replaced a bad part). Not sure if this is related.

  7. This is the most authentic and accurate LEGO version of the Hogwarts Express we’ve created to date. It was designed to fit approximately the scale of 1:32, to accommodate the rich level of detail (both inside and out!), while standing naturally next to our minifigures without haunting them with its impressive size! It has plenty of little things to be discovered, especially on the inside of the passenger car, and comes with not 1, not 2, but 3 light bricks!! 😂 I hope you’ll enjoy building and discovering this beauty if you ever get a chance! This model was only made possible with the hard work and love of many of my colleagues, but I must name some of those that worked closer to me: Helene Desprets, Kerstin Bannert and Michelle Martinsen (packaging, communication and marketing), Patricia Andersen and Jeppe Mohr (project management), Peter Kjærgaard (graphic design), Jakob Nielsen (element design), Jette Storm (production masterdata), Michael Madsen (building instructions), Monika Fruergaard (model coaching) and finally Andrew Seenan, the new Design Lead, that got the final design through the approval process with our IP partners at Warner Brothers. We did it! 🥰 Coming soon on August 31st!

  8. Someone posted a pick on here of their haul. They got a bunch of these at target for $45. I think the repackage sticker was inlieu of a clearance sticker. ETA I might be mixing up 2 different posts. Sorry my memory is going.

  11. Received my AT-AT from Kohl’s today. It arrived in a nice padded shipper, not a LEGO factory shipper.
