Being a lover of over easy, I have mastered them over the years. Its always fun for me to order them at restaurants (love them as toppers on salads, sandwiches and rice bowls) and critique what I am served. Also, my 2 year old loves over medium, which I have also perfected.

I....love....COOKING! ....But I hate the cleanup. I used to cook so much with my mother growing up until around middle school I think where the desire just waned. I have concocted the odd dish over the years but nothing that intensive really outside a random burrito or pizza (or random leftovers). Anyway, since last year about when I got back into some actual fitness and eating better overall, I started cooking again and rekindled a sort of passion forgotten to time. Granted the meals thus far have been straightforward with nigh a handful of ingredients. Still, I am becoming more comfortable in mixing, experimenting, substituting, and ultimately eating significantly healthier to the point where for my age & height I may be considered underweight. (Also, this darn heat.) And cleaning the mess isn't too bad. Well outside of the food processor anyway (most especially after shredding cheese). That is so tedious ....and sometimes sharp. Additionally, I love natural honey. ....Just felt like saying that. Also, eggs. And I think I am done. Yuperrino. That's it.

I’m still hoping this was a marketing campaign to help boost lagging sales and we will see a last minute reversal on existing sets come 8/1, but I doubt it.

Just checked the status of mine and it says "in warehouse". Also noticed it's been a year in Aug since I placed the order. Crazy.

I would be shocked if DA retired at the end of 2022. It's been hard to get, so must be selling well. It wasn't on any 2022 list I've seen. I expect it will be $470 on 8/1 just like Hogwarts. So far, I've not seen any true Lego exclusives on the list of sets with a price increase. The lists are all based on information from retailers, so it makes sense we won't know for true exclusives until Lego tells their store employees.

Weird ...Just got my purchase confirmation from Bricklink for my Great Fishing Boat. I totally forgot about that.

I didn't see those or they probably would have been out of stock earlier... I'm sure there are plenty others that I'm missing, but good luck to everyone who finds some gems!

Walmart.com has a bunch of sets back in stock that haven't been in stock for quite a while. This includes some that actually retired and have been out of stock since end of 2021. It seems that they found some pallets in the back of a warehouse somewhere. A couple that are in stock as of this posting are: 10258 London Bus - $99.99 60254 City Race Boat Transporter - $24 They had several of the 6 stud Speed Champions sets that retired at the end of 2021, but they aren't available anymore. 21154 MInecraft Blaze Bridge was also available at some point earlier today. There are some others that I found and I'm sure plenty that I haven't found too. EDIT: 41395 Friendship Bus $56. Retiring end of this year but hasn't been available at a discount pretty much anywhere in a while.

Best bet is to disable auto-removal altogether. It sucks but that check box has been faulty since they forced everyone to opt-in to liquidation.

Right? Why does it have to be like that? Speaking of sharp and tedious things to clean, I've been using my mandoline slicer to make thin/long sandwich quick pickles just re-using the fresh pickle brine (I buy the Meijer brand deli pickles).

Built several since my last post. The GB firehouse, Green Grocer, and Assembly Square. Still have a few left, going to take a break from building and start to work on the layout.

OfferUp yesterday afternoon - $350 MILF, about 10 minutes away from where I happened to be. Knowing full well what’s really up, decided to have a little fun, but not waste my time either. Reached out and told him I was interested and nearby. Immediately met with “I’m in (city two hours away)” “Weird,” I say, “says you’re right here.” “Oh, that’s an OfferUp glitch.” Uh huh. Told the guy peace out. He pushed hard with a couple messages that he could ship it FedEx and “I’ll even take photos of me packing it!” Lol The listing and messages are gone this morning. I’m hoping it got axed. I had to duck out at that point and didn’t get to report it. Hopefully no one got screwed (except for him).
