Me: "Genie, I want a bridge fom California to Hawaii."
Genie: " Master, that is impossible. You must take the ocean depth, tides, and weather into consideration. Wish for something else."
Me: "Alright. I want to be able to understand women."
Genie: "About that bridge, one lane or two?"
LEGO has done an excellent job of marketing and producing quality sets over the past 2-3 years, better than I ever would have though 10 years ago. I truly believe (and know) some LEGO reps used to read our forums and took a lot of our feedback to heart and really started developing sets for adults and did a great job. There are just too many great choices right now it's hard to buy them all.
Price increase or not, these current LEGO sets are must haves and people are going to buy them now and on the secondary market for years to come. It's still a great investment.
Odd to see new sets like Ferrari & Optimus on the list. Why not just get the price right at launch?
I was going to wait on the Ferrari but will probably buy one now. Few others to stock up on too. Happy to see no modulars on the list.
I wouldn’t count on this freebie, I didn’t get mine from the other day when it went live, and when I just called them now they said they don’t have any left so it might be a fluke
