  1. Well I've ordered the Station, Chalet, and Construction Site. Since it's in a year's time, future me can worry about paying for it.

  2. When I got the Mountain View observatory, the price rung up as $249.99 instead of $319.99. Did others experience the same thing?

  3. Announced today, releasing 6/1/22 for $169.99. 5/25 for VIPs. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/vincent-van-gogh-the-starry-night-21333 Original IDEAS submission for reference: I feel like Lego actually improved upon the original submission while still staying true to the the artistic elements of the submission.

  8. Thank you!!!! I had this opened all morning considering it, but decided in the end to walk away form it at $320. Happy to pick it up at $250. Side note: I just finished Castle in the Forest last week. It is a stunning set, but I definitely didn't enjoy the building experience on a screen the same way that I enjoy building with paper instructions. It was harder for me to just get completely immersed in the build with my work email, etc a click away. That did make me more hesitant about picking anything up in Round 3, but again, at $250, its definitely worth it.

  9. Limit one is definitely slowing things down. As are the high prices. The EURO/USD gap is much higher than with regular sets. Very disappointed the Exporatorium didn't make it. Such a unique set compared to the modular construction site.

  10. Crowdfunding has begun: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/introducing.page 10 minutes in, and the Winter Chalet has funded. Studgate Train Station is close behind.

  12. I gave it a try too. Damnit. The only thing LEGO engineering can get correct.

  14. Looks like we get to vote on what Ideas set will be released exclusively to Target. https://ideas.lego.com/blogs/a4ae09b6-0d4c-4307-9da8-3ee9f3d368d6/post/cc2956f4-d9d2-40f3-8d81-2b98ec9a1bd9

  15. That train station alone was worth a $4M gross for LEGO.

  16. Voted for vikings. Is Lego immune to recession fears or what? With the Bricklink designer program third round selling out so fast and Lego now letting retailers vote on Ideas sets, it's like they're pushing the envelope on what people will buy.

  25. Thanks for this update. I didn't know you could earn in-store either. I downloaded the Rakuten app and it's easier to access that feature from there. The earning potential is less in-store, but it still works. LEGO isn't on the list now. However, that could change in the future. Looks like the 15% from Rakuten is gone on my end. Happy I pulled the trigger yesterday. Not having access to the Ulysses today definitely helped that decision. Otherwise, I would have held out for today's free $100 bill!!! Good luck to everyone trying to get it today.

  26. Doesn't appear to be live yet in the US, at least it's not showing up for me. I did manage to snag one last go around however so maybe that's why

  27. It looks like YMMV, I made an order on 05/10 that included just a Promo Code (one of the Tin Signs) and my 15% cashback just hit.

  28. I didn't see this until now, but for future reference, it looks like there's a way to get cashback when shopping at store as well. I'm not sure if it's applicable to Lego specifically but believe there's an option to check into the rakuten app or something along those lines when shopping physically. I have not done it before, and I don't have too much experience with Ratuken myself so if anyone else has had experience with this please let us know!

  33. But now you only need 12 pockets in your custom basket. Let's face it, the 16 or 20 pockets basket looks awkward even for Walmart.

  34. I'm still slow and awkward at it, not a 3 second expert like Supraboy.

  35. Walmart is definitely the best smooshing spot, probably the least weird thing that happens there.
