I've gotten more inquiries from friends about this line than any other Lego anything ever. A friend got a six pack and asked me yesterday what the best route to getting the other six was. I told her about smooshing... Then just told her I'd grab the six she was missing next time I found them in store. Luckily I remembered that when I found myself in a Walmart last night. Her response when I told her I got them:7 points

I would call with your order # and tell them you received the wrong item so that they will send what you actually wanted. Not sure if they will issue you a return shipping label for the other persons order or just let you keep them, but keep us updated.4 points

As a child, I never understood how few times this would ever happen in my lifetime.3 points

Even in Monopoly the chance for getting this card is rather low when you have more than 2 people playing2 points

I remember it being hard to locate a 16 pocket basket for that pic. 12 is much easier to find.2 points

Walmart is definitely the best smooshing spot, probably the least weird thing that happens there.2 points

Agreed there are some interesting ones. Also agree with Lowenstein statement. Nice set but also more limited or at least more ppl missed that one than the waves after. Going forward I'm more and more selective buying any of these for investment. Havent decided yet but might not but any from this wave. Also questioning the few that I bought from wave 2. Fantastic opportunity for personal collection for those interested in actually building the sets but might want to carefully consider buying for investment.2 points

keep in mind that if you return too many items (regardless of reason) you may get permabanned without any warning...same for all other retailers...I heard the Amazon ban is especially brutal...you are dead to them forever1 point

Funny you mention Target . Im new to lego investing. Been ordering stuff on sale from walmart , amazon , target , etc. Target has by far been the worst when it comes to packaging. Same problem. Way oversized boxes and minimal to NO packing material . The amount of returns from online orders is starting to take its toll on me ..... infact i have a target box sitting on my porch right now. a 76239 mini tumbler . wouldnt you know the box is gigantic ? flip a coin if shes a keeper or not... /shakes head1 point

I think many of us had busted seals. I think the seals used in that run were sub par.1 point

I've only had this happen with receiving a framed print that was for someone else. To my knowledge, I'd never even ordered from this company before for them to have my info. I called them since I looked it up and it was a several hundred dollar print, and they said keep it. Unfortunately, IMO, it was ugly as hell so we just sold it on Craigslist or something for probably 25% what it would have retailed for. Free Lego sets, yeah, now we're looking at a moral dilemma, lol.1 point

I had something similar happen recently. I received several incorrect sets along with the correct invoice identifying my order. I called CS and they sent a shipping label to me and asked for me to return the incorrect sets. They shipped out the correct sets right away.1 point

This is 100% a moral situation. It's not worth my effort to call and waste my time doing the "right" thing.1 point

What mistake? Seems like a bank error in your favor. The person who was supposed to get it will reach out and they will fix the order. Direct from the FTC.gov website:1 point

Oops, was on the wrong LEGO country website. $170 is the perfect price point. Day 1 for sure.1 point
